View Full Version : JT 6.0 gas leak
No idea how it happened because I was playing with it fine the day before. But now when I turn the gas on, I get it blowing out of the hole in the bottom of the front grip! Any ideas because I don't know much about this gun, yet.

Check that the adjuster screw is correctly inserted (make sure it's actually there, it might have come loose and fallen out and you didn't realise). Also check the "o" ring nearest the bottom of the regulator isn't dry or broken.
I've taken the front grip off, and there is a large spring there and a 'lump' of metal. As you can see, I haven't a clue! What am I looking for exactly?

You need to find why its leaking assuming you are 100% sure its definatly leaking where you are looking. Put it back together making sure its all correct and see if it still leaks first.

seems to be a common problem
my m8's JT6.0 is going to planet so they can have a look at that very same problem.

Dark Warrior, if your mate gets it sorted I would be greatful if you could tell me what they found out to be wrong, because everything seems present and correct in my marker as far as I can see

Had to have the vert reg fully serviced and it seems to solved the problem.
What did the service include? Did anything have to replaced or fixed, because if I take it in then tell them what could be wrong with it, it would save them time poking around.

As far as I'm aware he told the reg apart and replaced anything that looked dodgy then put it back together
I've called most of the paintball sites and shops in my area and none will take a look at the 6.0 because they don't stock any parts for it!
Fat bob, if I could bring it with me on a day at YPC, would anyone there be able to take a look at it for me, and if need be, fix it! I'd be very grateful!

Ok I have emailed those people and I have now put it on my website @ www.roycolesupholstery.co.uk/jtexcell/jtexcell6-5.jpg and for the parts list www.roycolesupholstery.co.uk/jtexcell/partslist1.jpg and if anyone wants anything else from the manual just let me know, sorry about the file size but I have broardband.
P.S I also have other instruction manuals for other starter type semi autos so just ask.
If anyone is interested, I got it fixed! It was simply the fact that I wasn't oiling it enough!
