So there we were, both teams geared up for the last game of the day, the sun is beating down across the woodland and long grass fields. The objective? To take the package and get it into the enemies base.

The teams were in position, ready to go, the count starts, 3....2....1... *HORN* The attacking section races down towards the package. The other section covering behind. The attacking section darts out of view, there is gunfire heard, one attacker comming back to wipe-off, and another, and another, we were falling like flies!

The defense is in-experienced, panic erupts as the red team are spotted with the package heading our way! I dived into the bushes along the tape-line. Gun fire is heard again, both sides evenly matched. Gradually the attackers advance, slowly up to their objective, all unaware of the one man ambush watching their every move.

One past, two past, three past, the carrier - now infront of me, it was time to shut the gate! I popped the carrier, who was despritally looking for where the shot came from, his team-mates unaware of what was about to happen....

I sprung out behind the three of them, quickly aim and pull the trigger, splat, one shot one hit, in quick succsession followed the other two paintballs which met their targets.

All four surprised and confused of what happened.... then there was my surpise, one in the long grass darted up and shot. I hit the deck and scramble behind cover, I hear his paintballs splash against the cover. I peek round my bunker and shoot, praying that I hit. Unfortunally I miss. I pull my head back in, peek round the other side quickly, shoot......

Splat! Got him in the chest. A sucessful ambush from the rookie player, beware pros - never underestimate your enemy.

Well OK I dramatised it so it was intresting to read, but I did take out the 5 players, I myself couldnt belive it, that was the best moment at my first day of paintballing, unfortunantly the team I was on lost, but it was great fun playing and it didnt bother me much, a win is like spice, it would have made it better, but boy-o-boy was it fun to take part :D

Thanks for reading if you got this far, hope it was worth the read,
Tris

i prefer the fire wildly in all directions then run away screaming with my hands in the air technique myself, and i must say, it works fine for me:D not bad though, 5 in one game, i think i got about 3 in my entire games on the first day:o :p

Well total hit count was 8, surrender 2, and a rather contrevertial 2 hits and 2 surrenders (the other team was at our base about to light a smoke grenade, which was the objective was, and the marshall said it didnt count, so probably had a better view anyway concidering I was at 1st hiding in bushes with only a small view).

Not bad for a 1st day :p

One of my favourites was while defending the village at ultimate paintball,we'd been pushed back and the other team were firing from the huts they had captured and the remainder of my team was pinned down but keeping them fairly supressed.Anyway i flanked right and crawled through a ditch till i was near the side of the hut they were hiding in,no-one had seen me as they were concentrating their fire on my other team mates,so i made a run for the hut (which had no windows facing my direction),pushed the barrel through a gap and took them totally by suprise!all i heard was "shit, shit, aaaaargh!" coming from the hut,and those who werent tagged ran out of the door, only to be taken down by my other team mates,it was a good moment that! :D

I feel pretty lame mentioning this but it was a great move. Although its never good telling people about your great move as people never fully believe you when you tell them you hit four people with one ball and got breaks on all of them.

Anyway it was at the big game in Wakefield. I was with my team (Rule13) and we were attacking a small village (Human) near to their respawn area. The village was a hot point all day, after taking the village we all dropped back 20 Yards and just waited and waited, all 7 of us in the bushes waiting to see how near they (opposition) were going to come and who could hold out the longest. Before they knew it they were about 15 yards away and covered in orange paint. Would love to know who it was we bumped that day but I guess we will never find out. Never thought Id ambusyh someone playing paintball, but suppose thats one up for the camo wooldand players.... if we were dressed like power rangers they would of seen us before we saw them!
