Am i lucky: Hell yeah!

Today i went to the YPC with my Tippmann today, well only half a day.
I was the only person there with there on gun so i was pretty happy.
None of my team really had a clue what to do even though they were trying to make plans within there small groups.
So on game 2, Capture the Flag, the whistle was blown so i just told the group next to me, "Follow me and we'll take this thing."
So me, my brother and this other group just charged straight into a maze of bunkers and bushes. We hid for a while waiting for the enemy to come round the heap of bushes infront of us. No-one came except two people hiding in a base made of four hut kinda things. So i realised playing 50-50 wasn't going to help, so i started a flank. I wasn't going to shoot them from a 10 metre range because one was player woman, so a quick entry and a shout would be enough. Also there wasn't only two blues in the base there were 5, and i was quite suprised they surredered.
I looked back to see if my team were following me but they were just watching. I must have looked quite crazy doing that. I think they all knew there were 5.
Anyway, we all regroup and moved forward, left from the flanked base, towards the enemy base and, of course, me at point. The area infront of us was lots and lots of foiliage, then beyond that, the base. I couldn't hear any fire near the base so i knew that the rest of our attacking team had not reached the blue base. I also only could see 2 people in the base which was suspicious the time. Suddenly something in the foiliage, about 30 metres in the distance, moved. It was a blue ribbon. Six shots later he was walking to the safe zone.
I did not suspect him to be the only one hidding so i kept low and told the others the do the same. Moving slowly through the bushes, we kept ourselfs alert, when to the left of us we heard fire. It was the rest of our team. This also alerted the rest of there defenders who were hiding in the bushes we were in! Now they were stood up they could see us too. One blue was able to look down a path in the shrubs directly at us. Luckyly we had a crazy guy who charged directly at him from the side. "Surrender!" he shouted. Instead of a ,"ok," the was ,"Rapid Gunfire," from our guy.
Now all the blue perimeter defenders were shot out, we moved on the base. One defender had gone in there for ,"protection," so now there were 3 in there. 5 shots from my gun and the left side defender was out, followed by my team-mates taking out the rest. I stood up to rush the base and grab the flag but a blue, from out of nowhere, leap through the bushes to the side of me and let fire on me from 5 metres away. Only one, of the about 10 shot, broke on me, somehow!
I got shot in the a$$, the top of the head, the legs and the chest. Luckyly i got him back in the next rounds in the hands and ... well the painful part.

Still, i wish i captured to flag since as i had made the win possible.

Ciao, Stencil.

P.s: I hate it when people call you Rambo.

i was also marshaling for you, in the green jt's then in red/grey axis.... you weren't too bad... though i'd recomend switching to air as co2 is rubbish

The blue team I marshalled today was horrendous, I kept giving them advice then they just did what they did every round and bunched up about 10-20 yards off the starting point...

By comparison your story is a true epic ;) sounds like you had fun :D

The day was ended on a high note though since a stag party group came in and were a right laugh, they also spent more money than the 50 man group previously in the day and there were less than half their number.

one player was a woman, so a quick entry and a shout would be enough.

Women don't normally appreciate a quick entry, but I guess you're a hero and a ladies man!.

:D sounds like you kicked some butt, better than my first day my gun was chronoing at 100fps but I made up with a loaned flatline!.

theres always this wierd animosity between rugby players and footie players. all i worry bout is that both varieties spend long hours in the changing rooms with a lot of sweaty men. gotta wonder bout that.

Well it's not ted's fault he's a bum bandit, have you seen the way he prances around the field, lol,
does he still have the phobia of the Pred that Gassy installed into him, lol.
how did it go?
Pred Walks by ted, his back to him, Gasman sneeks up and pulls ted's tippmann trigger, "CRAIG NOOOOOOOOoooooooo" as ted runs off into the distance much like a loony toon,

anyway you didnt answer me, why the animosity towards the girls who play paintball? is it cos you know they're better than you?

ted@york

Anyway, went again on the 30th and on my team there was this total wannabe pro motivation speaker guy telling our team how to play the games.

I was just stood with my head in my hands, it was unbearable!

If our marshall reads this please say something about this because it was very funny/embarrassing.

Oh yer, and he always stood in the out area ,after he got shot, and shouted cruddy instructions to the live players, i hate that.
