European 5 Man Championships 2006 Press Release
Doesn’t time fly? We are now into are 4th year here at the Euro 5 Man & are pleased to announce that the EURO 5 MAN IV will be held on the 21st & 22nd October 2006.This year we will offer even more value for money. Building on the success of its inaugural competition, Euro 5 Man offers players, spectators & advertisers a level of professionalism unsurpassed in UK tournaments. We also have some surprises this year that will blow your mind including some major new sponsors that will be announced over the coming weeks….
The fields will be new and with numerous trade stands. The organisation has ensured a massive media presence, including Television and Local/National radio. The local council has been keen to get involved and will be including a special article, with a front page feature within the Ashford Borough Guide and Ashford Borough Review Magazine that is distributed to 50,000 households within the borough.
We would also like to warmly welcome the Extreme Group on board! This is a collaboration I am really excited about as I’m confident that Extreme can help us to develop our sport in the UK, from grass roots to competitions. If you’ve ever seen the Extreme Sports TV channel you’ll know that these guys are into everything Extreme from Skateboarding, Snowboarding, Surfing, Gum Ball 3000 (yes, the real Gum Ball rally), Mountain Climbing, Mountain Biking, BMX etc etc & now Paint-balling. The Extreme brand encompasses Extreme TV, Ex Drinks, Ex Hotels & Cafes, Ex Cred Pre-paid cards & much more...... We have the Best Venue, Prizes, Entries, Amenities, Location, Marshals, and Air to that of any domestic tournament anywhere.
All Hotels, Motorway Restaurants and Local attractions are within 5 minute drive from the Stadium. A car park is within the Stadium and is FREE for all players and vendors.
So far Pure Rush has secured over €20,000 in prizes, and is just another reason why the European 5 Man Championships is now one of the most attractive events in Europe.

Whether you play Pro, Am or Novice you will play a minimum eleven preliminary games over two days play. The top eight teams from each division will go on to play the semis with the top four from each division playing off for the Prestigious 5 Man Title and over 20,000 Euros in prizes.
Pro Marshalling:
We will provide 6 Marshals per field, 4 Ultimate marshals 1 on each field
We believe that ultimate marshals need to be on field to make/overturn any decision/s
The Ultimate Marshall’s will be present on field for all games (Something the millennium have taken on since Euro 5 Man 1)
No teams will Marshall, and all marshals are fully paid. We believe teams marshalling other teams are wrong, so we aint gonna do it!!
Fastest Finger competition:
Why not try your luck with the new Dynasty Shocker. Are you Europe's fastest finger? if you are then get paid. Entry is £10 per person & winner takes all (so if 50 people enter their will be £500 for the winner). The competition is instant knockout (there can be only 1). We will hold this event on Saturday afternoon.
1-on-1 competition:
Think you’re good? Why not try the 1-on-1, shoot anyone in your way & take the cash. Entry is £10 per person & is winner takes all (so if 50 people enter their will be £500 for the winner). The competition is instant knockout (there can be only 1). We will hold this event on Saturday evening.
