ok, i know people slate pistols but they gotta admit they are good fun on punter days, lol,
was at me local site on a punter day, and using my zues. when one of the marshalls came over and offerd me his pistol from his kit bag,
so there we were playin Capture the flag, the other team were bunkerd down laying paint from tipmann 98's into the field, when i thought sod it.....and charged them down, i got up the field behind trees and things and as per usuial punter they shot at the tree i was behind for a while and then went onto shoting the other punters,
with that i walked round the the tree and ran into the middle of the enemy lines both pistols fireing a-la neo, i launched myself to the flag slideing a little and emptying my pistols at 4 or 5 poor punters, but before i got to my feet the rest of the other team turned round and pretty much emptied their hoppers at me,

OUCH............ although there were only a few breaks i managed to raise my hand and utter the words "I'm out......"
any other Pistol using hero's out there?

Tried it once, walkon, speedball field, got to bunker, one pistol jammed, one working pistol, threw jammed pistol off field, other pistol messed up, got shot

not exciting, fun though for the time it lasted

I love my pt jr and am deffo getting another one in a left leg holster for duel cool. I just wish the buggers were more powerful (to the legal limit which is below that of normal markers) the ones I have now are pretty poxy at even mid range.

I nearly had a moment of glory at wakefield when one of the enemy walked past my position (dont know how he didnt know I was there) and my main gun jammed so I pulled my pistol and had it pointed at his head. Me being the gentleman I am I asked him if he was out because he sure as hell didnt look like he was in he looked like he was on a sunday stroll in the park. he just looked at me and I said again "are you out?" then aimed down a bit and put one in his chest, which bounced! so I aimed at his face again, he looked up from checking his chest and looked me in the eyes then BLAM one of his team mates shot a ball into my pistol which I was holding outstretched in my arms. so i was out.

I was the last one of my team left in through all of this and it's safe to say that they were all shouting and swearing at me because I hesitated like the noob I am. Next time I'll dump the clip into the facial region.

my mate used my pistol yesterday. after a capture the flag game the other team ran for the flag off the whistle and so did my mate, they got it and he was like a litte cheetah he went storming off after him straight into enemy lines pistol blazing was awesome to watch

I was using about 2 month old mixed paint in it to get rid. plus I had a break in the chamber to clip area before where I stupidly took the clip out when it was half full, the ball in the chamber rolled out and I bust it inside the gun when I reinserted the clip. Durrr!

All the ones I tested on the morning and when I got it running at 260-280 went out of it fine it was just after that break that I stupidly made it messed up a bit even after a quick clean. Breaks will happen either way though.

Pistols rock i always used to mug fools with electro markers with me trusty 10 shot pistol. Oh how they were the days.....seriously, what fun and added bonus peole really tend to remember being shot with a pistol ha.

Don't know if you remember these badboys. But they are still good, I tell thee! Up to about 50feet these things are amazingly accurate. I have a 98 with flatty and BT folding stock, but it's a long beast so I have, in the past holstered the splatmaster along as a sidearm...

I wish I had it yesterday in a one-on-one. I just couldn't move the same dragging along my idiot rifle-wannabe-marker!! The lamest thing was, I got nailed because I accidently pushed my safety in and while I was faffing I got rushed :( What a retarded way to go lol

Oo are they any good, i heard they are better than zuess and usps.... pistols are always good fun, might buy one but i dunno whether i should invest in a new marker instead

If you are actually intending to make more use of it the Tac 8, (or Tac 9) leads the way ahead of the alternates due to the way the 12 gram and paintballs are loaded by a pistol style magazine. But I do recommend extra magazines to allow you to fire, drop and reload.

However there is the price difference. If you want to carry a pistol for a few extra shots as a backup then you can save some money with the Delta, Zeus etc.
