Get air it will be better during the winter . co2 tends to screw up in the cold weather

air as a propellant is better and more consistent though the initial set up is more expensive.
i assume from your post that you intend to do walk ons.
what sites to you intend going to ? can they provide co2 air or both.
if they can provide air as ive said air is a better propellant
if not use co2 but dont forget to put an antisyphon tube on your bottle. you will also need some form of expansion chamber and if possible inline filters. these will take the crud out of the co2 and will also help lessen the chance of liquid getting into your marker.
if you decide on air a preset system will work fine though i would suggest a 1.1 ltr bottle as opposed to a 0.80 ltr one.
air good points ...easier filling no freezedown in the cold and your seels and o rings will last longer.plus better shot consistency.
co2 good points cheeper to buy and most sites can provide it.
ok the choice is yours and good luck with the walkons.
by the way quite a few people will opt for co2 thinking the bottle test cycle is different to air and the co2 bottles do not have to be tested. this is a misconception as co2 bottles have the same test cycles as air bottles.
