Ok, you are probably thinking exactly what we thought when we first heard about re-usable foam training balls.

"What a stupid idea"

And those were our thoughts until we got hold of some yesterday.

I had impressions of little yellow foam balls, like you get in magic sets that would.
1) not feed because they were too light.
2) Even if you did manage to load one, it would fire about 10 feet in any direction but straight.

Then we got hold of V-Balls.
They are exactly the same weight as a paintball (a pot of 100 is quite heavy). They are not made of foam at all, more like some king of plastic ball covered in wool (It's not wool but that's how best to discribe them).

They even come with a dart board size velcro target for training (Not hanging on your bedroom wall and using your marker indoors:D :D )

All in all, they seem like a good product and a good idea. Perfect for testing and chronographing your marker without any mess.

And the bonus is, when you have fired them, you just collect them up and re-use them.

By the way, it says on the box that these are used by Baltimore Trauma and NY Xtreme X ball teams for training and testing.

Price £34.99 for 100 including target

The whole idea is that the balls don't break - either in the gun or on the players (or targets). So you can collect them up and use them over and over again, rather then have to buy new paint every time.
