Heh, time for one of y new years resolutions - post more on here, and get into the sport more in general!

I'm FINALLY goning to get to use my own marker for the first time in the next couple of months when (that is if) my Uni department decided to pull its finger out and organise a day paintballing, however since I'm studying computer science, I'm not holding my breath... :P So I;ve got a plan B - hopefully a new Delta Force is opening in Cardiff (just watch me jump for joy - yes this IS sarcasm at its finest) so I'll just drag all my friends off there....

But anyways... onto my questions...

Short of buying a new marker, what EXCATLY is there for me to attach onto my monster of a Sabby?? (I've been lurking here to know the answer to that :P)

So really what I'm asking is, what kind of barrel would be advisable (Since I have an electric hopper, expansion chamber and drop forward) (I was going to get the "quiet riot" - simply on looks - if I wanted high performance I'd go and get a cocker!! - But that isn't stocked anymore :() to shove on the end? Or more specifically, what thread would I require (I think its a spyder, but I thought I'd ask first) and what other manufactures would be "compatible" with it, when I decided to get another (slightly more shiney) marker??

Sorry this is soo long winded, but I've been meaning to post herew for a while, and its all kinda gunged itself into one monsterous post!!

I think the sabby is spyder threads, but I'm not 100%. As for which is the best, the barrels that fatbobs are selling (the smartparts ones) are decent. If you want something better then you will probably want to look at variable-bore systems like the freak or the empire deluxe kit. But of course these are more expensive.

For a spyder, id say any marker can't go wrong with a boomstick (if you have the money) or you could get a barrel set like freak or my favorite, evil pipe

Thanks for the quick responces,

Having thought about what to spend my hard-earned student loan on (:p) I quite like the look of the Smart-parts All-american ("its like the freak - only cheaper" TM)

However, trying to find anywhere that sells it is a bit of a pain - the Smart Parts webby (europe) keeps giving me errors when I try to "buy" anything (i.e. see how much it'll be to ship and after Vat), the US sites I've tried are only a couple of quid cheaper before postage, and FatBob's don't stock them (:()

SO does anyone have any ideas for stockists that won't pull my pants down over the price?
