View Full Version : Any Tippmann sympathisers?
I'm sure I can't be the ONLY Tippmann 98c owner out there, so hopefully others have started to modify their markers too...
I've spotted a few funkeh items in the US for the 98c but to my knowledge there's no UK supplier so I wondered if there's any demand for these parts over here.
First is a lighter rear bolt/hammer. Made of titanium with delrin inserts, they're supposed to be more efficient and hopefully give a better ROF without as much kick.
Second is the Maddman spring set - tighter sear spring, stiffer bolt spring, etc - all to give a better feel to the marker.
There's a few other parts too (different powertube/front bolt) but has anyone over here done much to their Tippys??
LOL - I take it that's a NO then :(
Bah, you're all wimps with your electro this and your 14bps that...
I dare you to drop your markers in a puddle, shake the excess water off and continue playing - then we'll see who's is best :D:D:D:D
Seriously tho, anyone with a Tippy.. make yourself know!
..please!
(desperate :p )
I got an A5 love it but i have just got an Armotech WG65 and that is awsome.
Don't exactly own a Tippy, but I service a lot for a local PB site. So far I can't fault them. Like you say, drop one in a puddle, kick it round for a while, shake off the water and BINGO! off you go again. Try that with a Timmy etc. I don't think so.:)
Hehe, nice to hear I'm not the only one
I don't think they're the best markers out there and maybe I should have saved my cash and put it towards something with a better ROF, but I only really play recball at punter days so electro's not really something I can use.

Hehe "Super Coke-er 500" :D
All very well showing us these Tippmanns, but are these owners in the UK?
Yet another reason in favour of Tippmann markers. And another reason my other half has found to chew my ear off. Can someone name another marker you can dismantle completely then get the receiver halves in the washing up bowl to remove excess paint? Can anyone see why my other half got upset just because her best china just happened to be in the bowl at the time? Women!!! HAH!!!!! they just don't understand the finer points of marker maintainance, do they?
Seriously though, I can't think of many other markers that are so easy to look after, maybe the Automag, but not in with the washing up.;)
