View Full Version : Angel - need help

Hi. I have ust purchased an Angel which was advertised as an LED but after putting some images up on PbNation asking fro general info and help for a person new to Angels the people who replied said it was a 2000 LCD based on the fact that to turn it on you need the yellow key. Is there any simple way of telling what the gun is (serial number etc) or is there someone at the shop at fatbobs who would be able to help me out. Thanks a lot, Michael.

If you don't post a piccy online - I would suggest that you take it into Lamby or Gassy on Saturday... Lamby is there on Thursday as well.

The gun should of arrived today but didn't.....................so yeah lol. If there are any particular areas that you want a picture of when the gun arrives (fingers crossed tomorrow) ill post them up to help identify it. Failing that ill take it through to the shop. I forgot to add it has an 04 Speed frame on it with a Lucky board and an Ace chip, again apparently. Im a total newb to anything Angel so I couldn't tell you the difference between any of them really lol. Thanks for the quick reply thoough frosties

Darn pictures not working, they were the pictures form the original advert so guessing the seller has deleted them from the interweb. As soonas it arrives ill take some general pictures of it aswell as any requests/close ups of it to help identify it.

I got the gun (Angel LED/LCD with an 04 Speed grip frame, Lucky board and Ace chip installed), 3 barrels (unknown atm), 12v revvy with intellifeed installed, the original Speed board from the new frame, a spare feedneck and a car charger and mains charger for £110. Does this seem good?

Usual sorry for the quality, my camera has killed it self somehow while its been in my draw so had to use the trusty mobile. So if any more detailed pics are wanted just ask me and ill get in a lil closer with me phone.

wow, thats a nice little hybrid ya got there, it is an LED body(top) with a LCD grip frame, but judging by the fack i can see a 9v batter inside, i presume it either has a modded angel board, or maybe a spitfire or a lucky board in.


looks like a good go, but you should contact Spitfire, and get them to put eyes on it for you. sweet setup. old school is cool!

Thanks for the comments there it's always good to know your in a nice community. What makes you say it's an LED body coz everybody else has said its an LCD body. If you go to http://http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=2184167 and scroll down to what DR.Strangelove said he seems fairly confident its an early LCD body. I would like to know for sure coz when purchasing parts quite alot of the LED parts dont fit the LCD. Any help/input would be great. And it's a Lucky board with the ACE chip running on the 9v battery. Im tempted to get eyes in it but im trying a Kila Products detent with my Reloader B to see if I have any feeding products so I dont have to get the eyes done.

because i have an LED with the same body! but then again, i bought it 2nd hand, so it might've been changed. the body you have, anyway, will fit any Angel Bolt up to, and including, G7, so i advise getting a soft nose bolt. either way, all the internals apart from maybe the noid will be interchangeable... as for detents or eyes? get eyes... you WONT chop a paintball if you have eyes, and with an empire hopper, you really want that assurance.
