what should i be looking 4?

hi i am new to paintballing and i have asked a few shops for adviced and all said to look at the TIppman 98 custom and the BT-4 combat.
I was wondering if any of you have used these markers and what you thought of them and if you could give me any more help and info.

I'm not being funny here but thi question is asked alot and we have some stickied threads which can answer some of your questions on gear you'll need when you first start out.

That being said, I would'nt buy a BT4 combat the 98 is better but only slightly. We would need to know if you're playing walk on woodsball or sup air tournament syle games. If woodsball you could use the 98 and upgrade it if you really really have your heart set on a 98, if you just want a good cheap marker that performs on all levels get an Ion or go one better and go for a PMR Rail.

i used the bt-4 last time i went paintballing, it was straight out of the box that morning and for the money they cost i thought it was a fantastic gun got on great with it all day and never had any problems with it.
