Help With Barrel

Help!

I have just bought a Spyder Aggressor XT.
With the gun I also bought a 14" Dye XCel barrel, with spyder threads.

The new barrel seems to screw down fine about halfway, but then becomes stiff and cannot be screwed down any further.

The barrel that came with the gun screws on fine. Although the barrel says spyder threads, is it actually supposed to fit on an aggressor XT?

spider threads, cocker threads angel threads etc are thread sizes not thread lengths. sounds like the thread length on the dye barrel is too long or not positioned at the right place for your marker. place the barrels side by side and compare the ends .
