Hi all, i want to get a AutoCocker 2003 Model (vert) and i was wondering how good they really are. If any of you guys could tel me some stuff about them that would be great, maybe how much b.p.s they can fire and how reliable they are. Thx a lot.

2k3 cocker is a superb marker for the price.

As they are mechanical and not electro there is no BPS cap, basically as fast as you can fire it is how fast it will fire :)

Reliability is superb on them, better than a lot of markers in the price range, and even in higher price brackets.

The only time they fail is when people tinker with them and throw the timing out on it. If a cocker is working, don't mess with it :)

Have owned them for about 3 years, about 5 different versions and love them.

The base model 2k3 will perform well out of the box, and if you feel the need they are highly upgradeable :)

Hope that helps

Dave

Thx a lot man, that will help a lot, i would like it to be electric but im sure that would cost quite a lot of money to upgrade. If there are any cheap frames could you tell me. thx a lot again.

No cheap frames mate sadly, or not that I would suggest anyway.

For rec and even entry level tourney play though a stock 2k3 will more than keep up.

Don't be too fixated with bps and rates of fire. One or two balls dropping in the right place is far more effective than someone spraying and praying 15 a second :D

Excellent markers
I own a e class orracle which is the best WDP produce if your looking at buying one of 2k3 models and are wanting to shoot fast then i recomend that you purchase a slight second e blade from PL**ET then the marker will rip:D also they have great accuracy over far distances compared to other markers in that price range and the quality of the bodys are one off the best i have seen my marker just wont scratch:)
The only bad points i have about them is that people mess with them and they carnt get them going right again but thats there own fault :D If its firing spot on dont mess with it and if it isnt send it to PL**NT

Do you have to play with the Grip thing on it?? It looks soooo much better without it. Other Cockers dont have it.

You mean the shroud covering the front end?

Nah just leave it off if you don't like it :) Although some times when you get shot in it and realise how fiddly it is to clean out you may wish you hadn't :D
