Hello, I was paintballing with my friend Dave a few months ago. Our scenario was to destroy the communications vehicle in the airbase. The base was circular with a fence perimeter going all the way around, say 4 foot tall. It was lined with mesh all the way around so you couldn't fire through it. In the base there was a watch tower to the left, a bunker to the right, a S.A.M missile launcher in the middle of the base and the communications vehicle about 10 feet behind it. The only way in was through the main entrance which had sandbags on either side of it with plentiful amounts of enemies hiding behind them. Me and Dave were taking cover behind an overturned picnic table about 50 ft from the base. It had a view hole in the middle so i could see through. I saw that in front of the entrance there was a wooden barricade about 10 ft away big enough to fit me and Dave. I thought that if we could get there we could both throw in some frag greandes (the explosive ones xD) and wipe out the enemies covering the main entrance, get to the red box, take the C4 (a smoke grenade) out of the box and lob it in the back of the Caravan and win the game. We (I :p ) came up with a plan for us both to lay down suppression fire as we ran for the piece of cover. We counted to three, dived from behind the picnic table and ran full speed towards the barricade, both of us firing as much as we could. We reached the barricade with no casualties, our firing managing to keep the enemy at bay. I reached the barrier slightly before Dave, I turned around and yelled at him to hurry up. I gave him some more suppressing fire to help him get there. He reached the barricade, slipped, went flying into it knocking the whole thing over. Me and him were just stood there, in shock for about 5 seconds (so were the enemy) right out in the open, no cover for another 50ft. One word crossed my mind...Shit! Then the enemy realised what had happened and we began to get pelted by about 10 people, I slipped over and was getting pummeled everywhere screaming for them to stop firing lol. They didn't stop until a Marshall came over and gave them a bollocking. I swear, when I got home and looked in the mirror I was as purple as a plumb xD. And thats the story of how I got shot...everywhere! Thanks for reading.

I hate that feeling when you know your being hit and the people arent going to stop so you just have to take it.

Ive just re-read, you should do the stag run at wild park lesiure, you run between to big big cotten reels and everyone whos these on the day ( up to 160) can shoot u and u cant shoot back :p

Thats pain, and then when U jsut stand in the middle and take it...ouchies.

Friend of mine has earned the nickname 'tank' for destroying a bunker at our local field.. goggs fogged up, ran head first into fence panel 6ft high by 3 ft wide, set at right angle to another similar panel... there is now only one panel standing...

i know the feeling, just sometimes its harsh, i was up NPF 2 weeks back, they'd got the flag and i went into their base like alone, there were 3 of em in total, no marshall around or ought, i took all out before they had a look in at me, then they turned around an i got mullered! Its typical tho, they know they've been hit but retaliate! Tis paintball tho i suppose!

Most painful bit about it was being hit on the tip of my finger, it went numb like and i couldnt feel anything for about an hour! Good times...

Something similar happened to one of my mates when the marshalls found out it was his birthday. He ended up on top of a 15ft tower with minimal cover, no marker and upwards of 40 people unloading their hoppers at him (it was just after the last game of the day).

He said it stung a bit.

We were crying with laughter. For a few seconds we all wondered if he'd somehow been replaced with a 7 year old girl because the noises coming from the top of that tower sounded like no man I've ever known. I wish I'd video'd it!
