Just what is this fascination with "FAST"? Where is the satisfaction of having millions of paintballs "hanging" in the air, and waiting for some poor sap to run into them? Sorry guys, but where's the skill going in this wonderful game? The only people i know who can twitch as fast as some of these electros are capable of firing all seem to suffer with St Vitus Dance. (Look it up in a medical book). Don't do a thing for me.

Nexus all use there E-blades factory fast mate. Truter setup the Nexus I have and only altered one setting, well 2 if you class the filtering on the trigger to stop it bouncing.

At the end of the day its all well and good having a marker that can cycle 30bps but how fast can you fire? Without any bounce? Bet it isn't anywhere near as fast as you think it is...

Very true.If you can't pull 30 times a second who cares if your trigger can. I must be up to about 7 or 8 Bps with my e-blade which is fine. I can keep em bunkered and I don't chop paint anymore. I did the entire tourney on Sunday without a single barrel break except when I put one in the barrel sock. Bloody sensitive E-blades.

personally, i like to have the speed of an electronic trigger there if i need it. but i very rarely find myself shooting more than 4 or 5 balls a second, as it was pointed out earlier, 5 balls a second is A LOT ! by my standards anyway. wasting paint aint my thing, i prefer to make em count instead of making em quivver behind a bunker.

2p Anyone ?

how do you fight the bouncing on your e blade then?

Tom

Alow a bit more post travel? All newer markers can be set to bounce, and all can be set not to bounce as long as you don't try to have a hair width trigger pull...

This may help slow pullers who want to shoot fast, i saw somewhere you can buy a trigger that fires on the pull then the release, doubling the bps!
No idea if you can buy one or where it was from but it sounded pritty cool!!

Sadly not tournament legal or probably allowed to be used at any decent walk on site.

UK law states one shot per pull, semi auto only. Anything else is breaking the law!!

Unless i am mistaken isnt that the tippmann? am sure i red some place that with a response trigger with every pull and release of the trigger lasting less than 0.25 of a second it fires off two paint rounds?

Now where did i read it...

Found it! Is this what you were talking about? (just pulled off the below and pasted it straight on)

Intoducing the All New E-Grip, Electronic Grip System. The E-Grip system uses an electronic control board to activate a selenoid. When activated, the selenoid disengages the sear, which in turn fires the marker. The System is powered by a concealed 9 Volt Battery. All electronic componets are completely contained inside the grip, which allows you to quickly and easily change grips.
Fire Modes:
Semi-Auto: Fires 1 Shot for each trigger pull.
Auto-Response: Fires 1 Shot for each trigger pull or release.
Full Auto: Fires Repeatedly as long as the trigger is held.
3 Shot Burst: Fires 3 Shots for each trigger pull.
Turbo: Fires 1 shot for every trigger pull, fires 1 shot for every trigger pull or release if the time between trigger pulls is less than .25 seconds.

cobblers. An impulse trigger works exactly the same as most other electros :- you pull the trigger, it hits a micro-switch which, in turn, activates a solenoid. You're describing, or seem to be describing, "trigger bounce". naughty naughty !!!;)

I do.

ok lets say your trigger takes 12 inputs a second... now to hit this max rof u have to pull the trigger at EVERY interval it checks. Chances are no one is ever gonna hit it cos the timing is too precise. Cos if one of your pulls is a fraction of a second too fast then its not gonna read that pull and is gonna have to wait for the next pull. understand?

So by having your marker able to to take pulls at more intervals you have a better chance of it reading every pull and thus fireing faster.
