View Full Version : Air On A JT 6.0
hi, what air reg/bottle would i need to use on my jt 6.0? i thought just a preset nitro duck would do it, but after reading a few posts im more confused than before.
All you need is a bottle and a preset screw-in reg. 3000psi would be fine, 4500 better though.1.1l bottle. It just screws into the same place the co2 bottle would. Fat Bobs sell both - i have the preset air reg from FatBobs on my Shocker and it's sweet. Very light too.
rad, roughly how many shots do you get outta yours? alos if i were to cahnge my jt to low pressure would it still take the air or not?

A preset nitro duck should be fine, but you may have to change some of the seal within marker
yea i was lookin at them, but tom sed to use a 1.1 3000 or 4500. would i be able to get one of them and put a preset reg on it and use that?

Here's your "All You Need To Know" shopping list for converting your marker to air.
1) Buy a pre-set regulator (either 3k or 4.5k)
2) Buy a bottle of a size you like (rated to the same pressure as
your regulator)
To Use :- Screw the reg into the top of the bottle (DO NOT USE THREADLOCK), screw the whole lot to the back of your marker, fill with air to the correct pressure for the system, go play.
It really is that simple. You can use whatever the hell you like, reg wise, pre-set, adjustable, whatever. Just be aware that on any blowback semi (JT, Spyder, Tippman, Rebel, etc....) you'll need an input to the marker of around 800psi. This is what all pre-sets are pre-set to. If you have an inline reg on the marker (you've been using it as a foregrip upto now) you can further adjust the input here. Some adjustable regs (mainly 3k versions) i.e. Armageddon, Max-Flo, will need an adapter to go between it & the bottle, this is the valve (it's basically like the pin valve on a Co2 system)
If you feel that this is all a bit technical, look back to the top of this post, go through steps 1) & 2) and you've got every thing you'll ever need.
Thank's for listening
Rob.
cheers very much dood, now all thats needed is to get my shopping on! look out fat bob's here i come!!
