Tippy m8,you need to shrink\modify that image as its "a bit on the large side",and I'd hate to have to put on my Moderators hat and do it myself,as I'm quite partial to muscle cars, what engine you got in it?(I'm guessing its yours).
Whats the red one up front ?

2) Run like buggery

Fusen:
Generally here in the UK you'll be playing for pride & bragging rights. :) You normally get a nice trophy, but that's about it. Some northern tournies do give away a few boxes of paint & the major tournies, such as the Campaign Cup, give a lot more to the winners, but on the whole you'll find that prizes are a US thing only.

FaDeH:
If you're looking for a team, there are loads in the Midlands. What is your playing level, what kit have you got, do you drive, how much time & money can you invest? These are the questions you need to answer before anybody can point you the right way.

Trick:
3-man is a rough ride, one ball can take out a third of your firepower. As for ideas, well it depends upon what sort of players you have. As a rough plan, send your fastest player to the furthest useful bunker he think he can make on the break - that'll draw eyes & guns onto him, so he has to be prepared to spend a lot of the game sleeping. He must not shoot on the break & must NOT trade so he'd better get some practice at snap shooting, else you'll lose him quickly. Your other two players should pick a single target before the break & both fire at him whilst keeping an eye on where the other two go. Hopefully you'll get an elimination or at least break up his planned run. One important point for these 2 players: they have to learn to move smoothly towards their starting bunkers whilst shooting, else they'll be left after the break standing in the open, which isn't good. These 2 players should spend 5-10 seconds in their starting bunkers & then dash up to the next forward bunker, but only one at a time. Use a leap frogging pattern until you're in a better position to support your runner, preferably spread across the field so that they can angle a targetted player. That's about the best I can offer without knowing your players, your kit, the fields & your opposition.

Communication.
You missed communication.
That is one of the most important parts of working as a team.
Good communication, letting the other players on your team know where the opposition is, is really important.
Otherwise you are just about playing by yourself and not as a team!

is there any tourny's for amateur/novice? (watever the crapest is), people who have little experience, but wanna compete? if not, wanna start 1 up? me and a few mates are starting a team, looks like it'll be a 5 man, and we all have decent equipment. anyone wanna play us? we range from about ages 15 - 17 i think at the mo.
p.s. we work at campaign, so if your near there then.......

i think most tourney's are open for every category of experience in playing paintball, although there will always be some circumstances of "elites" or "novice" on sometime.
