Does anyone know any stores in the UK that sell this pistol? I know i could import it from the US but customs might have something to say about it if they x-ray the box lol. I know BZ used to stock them but they seemed to have stopped :(

just for your information fella, there s**t, they weigh a tonne, are massively over expensive, only have 8 shots per mag and buying extra mags will cost you an arm and a leg. if your looking for a cheap pistol look at the pt junior range

Yeah, a £200 + pile of junk.

Really, just don't buy a pistol. They're seriously not worth it.

Iv been shopping around a little and found a cheaper gun that actually has decent reviews, the Ariakon OVERLORD RX:

Just 99 pounds in the UK, I was originally of thinking of a RAP4 T68 but its reputation for crap build quality combined with this story: http://forum.specialopspaintball.com/index.php?showtopic=150966

Convinced me to avoid RAP4 at all costs.

The Ariakon is for sale on WeArePaintball website as well. I've looked about at them and have heard varying stories, but overall it sounds like a good pistol when it's working. It's prone to leaks apparently though.

Guys save your money

The only way you'll get an out with one is to sneak up behind someone, hold a paintball against their head, and smash it with the pistol grip

Where's DA when you need him and his wealth of pistol knowledge :p

And when you realise how much money you've just wasted you can't get half of it back in the 2nd hand market! if you are desperate for a pistol wait untill one comes up 2nd hand.

I've owned a PT Jr Extreme and the fabled Tac 8.

The PT Jr leaked gas after less then about 20 gas changed which was annoying.

Now, the Tac 8...

Pro's:
It looks awesome, way awesome.
It's powerful and I found it to be reliable and easy to clean.
It has some nice mods and accessories.
Very accurate for a pistol.

Con's:
I used the Tac 8 over a period of about 4 months, sometimes in the garden sometimes at the sites. I can honestly say that for the £250~ I spent on it (2 mags, holster and the pistol when they first came out) I did NOT get my moneys worth.

The problem is I had nowhere to use it, it looked pretty and all but when I crawled in woodsball it snagged on branches and stuff so it actually made playing harder. I was told this before I bought it and it's SO true, it's quicker to re-pot the main marker and fire 200+ balls then it is to whip out the sidearm.

Finally, I justified buying it because what if my main marker goes down mid game? well...it never happened.

Just my opinion. Don't forget that I bought 2 pistols and now I have none, that might tell you something about them. If you do buy one everyone will want a go because they're fun as hell, but secretly, you'll regret it.

I had a T8 for a bit, it seemed a good idea, my X7 uses a shed load of air with its response trigger so a back up sounded good. In practice was a pain in the arse! I either had to chuck the X7 at a friendly marshal, dead player, leave it in a safe place or use a sling and that caused it to batter around on your back and restrict movement.

On the up side for pure amusment it was good! Nothing like bunkering a chap with a pistol eh Nick :)
