what are the basic rules concerning team playing , and whats the rules on umpires , as im a complete novice i could do with finding out whats what , any links to the info would be appeciated

best thing you could do is come along to a practice woodland tourney

Most places go over the basic rules.
Best thing is to find out the rules from the site you will be playing at. They may have different rules (Rate of Fire ect).

played on 27th dec at derby , 20 off us , including some marshalls , on their day off , next day out is 25th january ( unless i get chance to fit one in before ) at bawtry , paid for my ticket , get my paint on the day .
looking forward to my first walk on . should be interesting
