hey guys
i am looking into buying a second hand pmr 07, and was just waddering what experiances people have had with them, is there anything i should know about them befor buying, and what upgrades are best?
thanks :)
got a 08 pmr, and iv just changed the clamping feedneck to a quick release one, put an on/off valve on, drop forward (personal preferance) and a nightstick barrel. Not sure about the 07 but the 08 only has an 11" barrel on it.
I've got a PMR 08 Camo which is a great gun. Again like Ginge I've put a on/off and a drop forward but thats just me. I don't know the difference between that and the 07 but they are definately great guns. If it only has an 11" barrel on it then get a freak kit or the ultralite kit. Theres one of the camo PMR's on the For Sale bit. If you get one of them you're getting a new trigger and trigger guard, a metal feedneck, an alloy bolt cap, and a two piece barrel which if your having troubles with bore sizes you can just swap out for an ultralite back.
Hope that helps
Rhys
i have 09 PMR which come with thumb screw clamping feedneck, on / off ASA. and all the good bits you'll need :D so it saves upgreading, as it all comes as standard 09 PMR will set you back £300 tho.... check out fat bobs anyway for all the info ;)
got an 07 here..... its outstanding. never had a problem, i bought it second hand, and the guy before me never had a problem. In regards to upgrades, it all really depends on which 07 you get as some special editions had upgrades on them already. do you know what its got on it and with it already or if its standard?

i belive it is just stock,( i did not think that the pmr changed between 07 and 08  so i assume that it is 07 as it just says pmr) i think i will get an on/off, new barrel, and trigger/trigger frame. i am glad to know that it is reliable, because a mate of mine had problems after installing some virtue eyes. but i guess its ok for some of us who can afford the 09s ;) :D it is a verry nice marker tho, what colour did you get?
thanks for the help guys :D
mine is the Claret one (red) ;)
