i recently got and 03 shocker i think its pretty dam sweet. But i have heard a few problems about it
so tell me what u think?
It chops like a bitch
Unlike my Eclipse Shocker, which has never chopped in the 2 years I have had it. 300 299 299 over chrono at PA. Mmmm
<---------- There she is!
The new shockers are great i have a dynasty one and yes it does chop but like most markers you have to find the paint that suits it the best ,and with the right paint they rip very easy to maintain well worth the money ;)

Get a better board.
I have bought the new TonTon Shocker 05 with the Nerve board in it.

If pure lightness and profile is your game then get an Ego rather than a shocker...

true
Shockers are really small and light what are you talking about ???
I am fortunate enough to have an Ego & an 03 shocker & as regards to the weight there is nothing in it.
the ego has a 0.7ltr bottle with the original asa & a pre-set
the shocker has a 1.1ltr with a 04 conquest reg
& i would say that i'm perfectly happy to use either marker they both will fire faster than i can pull the trigger. At the moment i am favouring the Ego but that is the newer toy:D

shep...have you got any more info on the Ego as at the moment I'm letting my heart rule my head and contemplating buying one!
cheers
steve
well its fast & light but you aready know that, there was some problems with the empire reloaders & the original ball detents but a re-designed detent & bolt have solved that problem, thats a free upgrade from ****** but should come as standard with any new Ego's as far as i know. They have also made a small change to the body from some of the earlier 1's to do with keeping the eyes in place not that it was any real problem.
Accuracy is as good as anything else(same level markers) with a consistantly sized paint,as bad as anything else with paint thats different sizes/shape.Consistancy over the crono is around+- 4or5 fps ,again this is more a paint issue when you get to higher end markers they all pretty good with good paint.
Efficancy(sp?) is good i get 3-4 pots & a hopper from a 3000 fill depending on how I've been firing lots of long strings less shots,
6+ pots & a hopper from a good 4500 fill & thats with a 45cu/0.7 ltr tank.
The clamping feedneck is great never comes loose no matter how clumsy you are.
Want any more info feel free to pm me
