Well this weekend i was involved in a weekend forest big game. Camping and a hog roast, who could resist?
Anyways, during a speed game which involved hay bails and caravans. i was in the middle of reloading my hopper, and a paintball caught a fold in my sandana.
This managed to pull the sandana off the back of my head, pulling the mask off my face with it. I dropped to the floor, put my face in the ground and scrambled to stick my mask onto my face without anything happening. Luckily i can still see and nothing bad happened, but after that happened i am now investing monies into a new and better mask with chin straps.

Moral of the story being, lose sandanas and cheap masks are not best in the grand scheme of things.

They should do? Even late Flex 7s had chin straps on them.

yes they do, I reckon he might just have had the head strap on too high on his head. I have a Flex 8 and have never had a problem with it.

try wearing the strap further down the back of your head.

then use that if it has a chin strap its there for a reason. if you tried to complain to JT they would say its your own fault.

Yep, first thing to get cut of most masks, after that the forehead jobbie gets a bit of whittling.

I wouldn't have complained, it was my own fault for not doing up the chin strap.I never used to wear it because it annoyed me while running. Shan't be making that mistake twice

I have had a few masks fly off in my time. I blame the fact that I dive like a dying elephant!!

Now i double strap :-)
