Ok another silly question!
if i stick my 3000psi bottle of air into my marker is it going to blow the internals. i know the out put from the bottle is 800psi but the timmy runs at a max of 500psi. will the torpedo reg lower it further?
Am i totally off the mark?
Does this make sense?
Damn why didnt i stick to the cocker! :D So much less to break:D
Scott
The torpedo will regulate the 800psi in down to the 500psi or so the timmy needs.

and now a new adjustable bottle reg to lower the pressure before it enters the marker

What have you changed? Just in a previous post you had problems with the way it was firing, and now this has hapened? :)
Have you changed anything else? LPR pressure, the pressure of the torpedo reg?
I'm not going mental am I - the torpedo reg is the vertical reg into the timmy?

havent changed a thing i think i am just havin spate of bad luck with it. i found the reason for it not firing (well the trigger delay) was because the bolt was pushed to the back of the marker was waiting for paint to enter before firing. that parts fine now.
this marker is just too flash for me! bit complicated and i think is going to take some getting used to. :D

I'd get the reg checked out, the vertical reg should take the pressure down to something the marker can handle. If the gauge blew then I'd get it looked at before you put another gauge on it and blow that too.
