Hi there
Im still looking into what to get for my first gun and i was thinking a second hand mini, my reasons are: they look sweet, iv'e heard they shoot well and as the name suggests they are infact mini.
My reservations: I have massive hands, will they fit? Are they unreliable? and i will be running Co2 through a remote lead and any other protective measures i can procure for one paintball day because its booked and i want to wipe out my foolish friends. thanks, i dont think i missed anything...

mini,s won,t run on co2 so better get something like a tippmann or bt.
also most sup air style markers will not run on co2 either

i would reckomend one, they work consistantly you just have to watch out for water in swiches ect.
You will definatly need air to use electronic markers, you can pick up second hand steel bottles for around 20-35 if you ask around a paintball site, i would if you have the money get carbonfirbe but its not needed but great for the future.
Dont forget a good electronical hopper, if you want to spend little get second hand empire reloader b's or something like that.

If its 1 day only then it may be ok but it will damage o rings and unless you have an anti siphon tube in the tank may damage your solanoid, if its 1 day on a regular basis then get a tippmann/bt etc.

Have you checked with the site that they will allow you to use an electro against your mates sporting rental markers? Its like bringing an AK47 for a waterpistol fight. Wouldn't think they would allow it. I know when I go rental with my non paintballing mates I have to use the site A5's

i would not even risk a day the cold completly freezes up all electronical parts making the gun useless.

I would complain if I turned up as a rental player and someone was sporting a mini. Sounds like a pretty crappy site TBH
