what exactly can be done with a 3000psi adjustable reg? (serious question)

I suppose you can adjust the output pressure, increase or decrease it above or below the usual output of 850psi.

or none seriously...you can fit it on a none adjustable bottle and fit it to a marker with adjustable velocity..:D

Fixed output air regs usually output around 800psi (to give the same results as CO2)

Adjustable output regs usually can output anything from 100psi up to 1000 psi - depending on the model depends on the range of pressures it will output.

Either an adjustable reg outputting about 650psi or if you have a front reg, you could use a fixed output reg of about 800

Fixed output is smaller and lighter. Most people seem to be going this way now

sounds like an old aa apocolypse reg, (only one with built in on off ) rated at 3000 psi. cant give you a price new as they do not sell them to 3000 psi spec anymore only 4500 psi rated ones.
they cost about 225 quid for the new ones.(4500)
