brought a marker off 1 of the guys on here about a month ago an only just started to look at etc coz of work.

any way first thing, went throught the manual stage by stage as im a total noob 2 this lol. put new battery in, turned it on an held the button down to wait for the churp noise then released. says there is ment to be a light on but nothing shows

looked in the trouble shooting bit "SHOCKER NXT TURNS ON & CHIRPS BUT POWER LIGHT DOESN’T COME ON & GUN DOESN’T FIRE. — Trigger activation screw is in too far. so thought as theres my answer! do i need to take the whole trigger out to adjust the activation screw or can i just adjust it as it is? tried putting an allen key in there but doesnt seem to be moving anything:confused:

this is the manual im going from. page 12

The trigger screw is on the face of the trigger, which one i can't re-call off hand but you can do it with the marker together. To see if it's the problem, get a nice quiet room and slowly pull the trigger. The microswitch on the board should yield you a feint *click* sound.

http://www.zdspb.com/tech/mguide/shockernxt/index.html - better than SP for, well everything.

always use a fresh battery, shockers, and pb markers in general, seem to throw hissy fits when they're not fresh. Also, if it's not a stock or blackheart board, there will be no chirp. If the grip screws have been put in too far you could have damaged the upper board, there could be a loose connection orthe power actuator isn't hitting the power switch\power switch has come off board (more common than you'd think)

i press the button again and just makes 1 churp noise. that turned off?

By the fact you have no power light is not a good sign, see previous post on damaged board and connections :).

The chirps are.

press and hold (1s) power on, press again, eyes off. any chirping without you pushing the button is a low battery
