View Full Version : Balls Keep Falling Out!!!!
Can some of you nice people help me out with my problem?
I have just got myself a new pro cocker from ****** eclipse and im having trouble with paint rolling out of the barrel when im not firing. I have tried to tighten my detents but this only jams up the bolt. Would getting an other barrl with a smaller bore help, i have a Kanner 2 peice 689 at the moment. Cheers for your help dudes.

Urban gohsts kick ass!!!!!!!
Because the cocker is a closed bolt marker, the ball detents only prevent double feeding - when the ball has dropped into the breech and been held by the detents, the bolt then comes forward and pushes the backk into the start of the barrel. If the barrel is too big for the paint, then the ball can roll out the end. Look into getting a variable bore barrel kit if you want to stop the problem.

danny, have the same prob,(stupid kaner barrels, designed to shoot ping pong balls). a decent .686 should do the trick if you dont want to get a barrel kit.
Thanks for the advise guys, probably get the freak kit then.

and once you have your freak on and your balls continue to fall out may i suggest a jocky! :p
Scott
You recomend the freak over the pipe then? I dont think a jockey would be such a great idea as they are itchy and chaffe.

the freak is great as you can change through out the day if the case requires it. you can also change the front of the barrel to suit your style (size wise or if you get bored of the same one there are loads of differnt styles and sizes) and if you sell your marker you just need to change the back to the correct thread and not all the barrels you have bought.
Basicly you change the back of the freak barrel to match the marker you use and the rest of the kit doesnt go to waist :D

wouldnt know about a pipe never used one.
Pipes are nice but LOUD!!
Freaks nice but don't like the flimsy inserts as there tolerances aren't as good as they could be. Prefer pure two piece barrels to the insert system. Empire 4 piece is a hell of a barrel for the price :)
