A photo montage from the 2010 UK Awards.
As we approach the centre point in the season, it's time for me to start drawing people's attention to this years UK Scenario Awards.
2010 was our most successful year to date, with tickets selling out in advance and a record 180 players and industry professionals enjoying a fantastic evening. Sadly, some people who wanted to come were disappointed that they were unable to obtain a ticket, so my advice this year is to book early if you really are set on coming.
Since the start of the season, voting has been open for 4 weeks after each game that has taken place and I'm delighted to announce that the numbers of players voting on events this year so far is at a record high. So well done you lot!
I'm really excited about this year awards. Due to the sell out last year, we've had to move to a bigger and posher venue just down the road. This years event will take place at the Copthorne Hotel in Merryhill, Dudley. If you thought last years awards were swish - wait until you get a load of this year!
This year, our private bar will be bigger than the main bar in 2010 and the hotel has a swimming pool, spa and again we've secured a license that will allow us to drink 6am.
The 2010 event raised several thousand pounds for the chosen charity which was Help For Heroes. This year, the chosen charity is our very own UK Scenario fund raising project: Support For Soldiers.
Tickets for the event are now available on the Awards website.
If you've not been voting for events that you have attended, please register on the website and cast your votes - it only takes about one minute.

To remind those who were there and can't remember what happened (pretty much everyone!!!) or for those who want to know what they missed, we've put together this short montage from the night. Enjoy!
