The A-5 is cool, perhaps better than the 98 but that depends on whether you want the cyclone feed or not. The A-5 is easier to maintain than most I've had the pleasure of using. Don't know about the WG65. I've never seen one in action but they look like the real deal when it comes to scenario markers.
Almost any marker is good, depending on what type of recball you play. If you're a woodsballer I recommend a Tippmann as they're sturdy and, with the Flatline Barrel, brilliant for speed sniping. If you're an indoor or speedball player you should go for something more compact like a Mini 'Cocker, Angel or Intimidator over the Tippmann. If price is a consideration go get a second hand Autococker or a Spyder like your friend dojomaster. If you really wanna go cheap then get one of the numerous Spyder Clones.
Spyders are cool to start off with but are not as inherently accurate as an Autococker. They're a lot cheaper though and can be accurate once you get yourself a decent barrel, much the same as any stock marker.
Whatever you decide I recommend thinking over what you want from a marker in the long run and then trying to find the marker that has all or most of the bits you want from the start. Upgrading is cool but expensive and it leaves you with a lot of bits lying around gathering dust.
My personal recommendations are an E Blade Autococker (preferably an Evolution XE) as a primary and either a Tippmann A-5 with Low Pressure Kit and E-Grip or a 2k4 Model Spyder (Rodeo, TL-X, Fenix, Pilot or 2k4 Imagine) as a backup. All with Freak Barrel Kit and running on HPA of course! That should cover every single type of play possible (recball up to tourney). :D
Thanks for your advice.
Yeah so many choices so little money :)
the wg65 looks the dogs danglers i must admit i'm not really in to
Shiny markers like Dojomaster i like the look of the Armotech range or even the tippmann 98c with stocks and barrel attachments but the tippmann is half the cost of the Wg65 so hence the dilemma
on second thoughts the missus will decide the tippmann's a better option no doubt !!!!:D
so decisions decisions any body else know about these !
Well i have a had a wg65 there not that bad lol. I have the sisster model the WS66 now that is the dogs bollocks i also have an A5 i have not used the A5 for months. The ws66 shoots alot further than the 65 cause of the hop up barrel. It can also shoot better than the A5 with a flatline if u want a price for the ws66 send me a pm or for more advice on it]
