Super 6 Questions

Hello all,

Got some questions that me and the girlfriend were wondering about in regards to Super 6 (Staargate in particular).

1) What time does it start on the Saturday/What time do the gates open so we can come and set up tents and things?
2) What time does it finish on the Sunday? (approx time as will be getting a lift back)
3) How safe is the camping zone? For example would we be safe leaving valuables in tents or would this be at our own risk?
4) What is the ideal clothing for a girl to wear? No naughty answers, I know what some of you can be like! ;)
5) The girlfriend wants to know why there aren't any mirrors for her make-up and plugs for her straighteners?!

Will be around 10am Sat

Game end normally 4pm, then results and prizes etc.
3) How safe is the camping zone? For example would we be safe leaving valuables in tents or would this be at our own risk?
Safe, never heard of any thefts from a Super 6 game
4) What is the ideal clothing for a girl to wear? No naughty answers, I know what some of you can be like!
Depends on a number of factors, how warm it is and how well she deals with hits. A bounce vest maybe advisable.
5) The girlfriend wants to know why there aren't any mirrors for her make-up and plugs for her straighteners?!

Thanks for the reply, will get lifts arranged tomorrow then. How long does the awards ceremony bit usually take?

Plus will be getting her a bounce vest and making an appeal to borrow other protection for her in exchange for food/drink :P

Scores and prizes can take 30 mins to an hour. You don't need to hang about till the end.

There'll be a full player pack released before the game, but the answers given are pretty much on the money.

The closing ceremony etc is only 20 mins so worth waiting for.

Hi everyone, first of I'm new to the site so hello to everyone.

I am from the Isle Of Wight VPL and will be participating this weekend (Tippmann Challenege) along 11 other players from the IOW. All of which have never played any Super 6 events. I have a few questions which I have attempted to search the forum for answers so apologies if I have missed answer already posted.

1. Will there be PDQ card machines in order to pay for paint/equipment, rather than taking a wedge of cash
2. We have 2 players under the age of 18 who will be accompanied with a relative, is there any restrictions on them and where they can be i.e. players party (granted they won't be able to drink lol)
3. Some of the guys intend to purchase some items on the day, will they have an opportunity to do so before the game on the Saturday

Yes, all traders have the facility to take cards.

No, no restrictions
3. Some of the guys intend to purchase some items on the day, will they have an opportunity to do so before the game on the Saturday
Saturday has loads of activities and plenty of time to look around. You can jump in and out of games as and when you like.
