Hi All

I have decided to cut through the Co2 middleman and go straight to air. Going to purchase the 0.8litre with the preset reg from fat bobs. I scuba alot so my long term plan is to get the filling unit to DIY my air. thus not to worried about having a bigger tank and would like to keep the weight down of what I carry.

Novice question I do have is I plan to go down the remote kit option rather than having the bottle on the gun, is this ok with Air as all references I have found to it point to Co2 only.

Any help appreciated.

Absolutly no problem running a remote on air but if i were you i'd go for a bigger bottle i use a 1.9l bottle on remote and as it's on my back and not the gun the extra size of the bottle dosn't make it any harder to carry round.
I would also suggest you get a slide check for the end of the remote which will enable you to disconect your hose from the gun without having to turn off your air first. Don't confuse a slide check with a air release valve as you have to turn the air off at the bottle with a release valve.

I got mine from Doropaintball in the states. I don't think fat bobs carrys them but could be wrong he dos have the release valve though but the slide check is better.

I've got a Nickle & Brass one lying around. It's only been gassed through once as I got it for a crazy idea that I had for my Rodeo Project but didn't work the way I hoped/planned. £10 (+p&p) and it's yours dude.

*edit*
I've got a complete remote with coil hose, On/Off ASA, Donkey Adapter, Slide Check and Quick Disconnect all attatched. Look for my stuff for sale thread or click on the link in my signature.
