Photo's at UK Masters events

Hello ladies and gentle folks,

I know that Eric was there at the first round taking afew pictures but really he was there to support the madtoxic teams.

Dan Randon is the usual Masters photographer but the cost of attending events at the new venue is too much compared to how many photographs he sells......his suggestion is that each team pays £5 roughly a £1 a player to him in exchange the team doesn't need to purchase the photographs on his site he will let you download them for free.....

With 20+ teams attending that works out just over £100 which covers his travel and production costs....i think this is a good idea.....WHAT DO YOU THINK...

I know this is Dans area, and ive never shot the Masters before, but if theres a lack of photographer to field/player ratio then id be happy to team up with Randon if it helped to cover the field(s)? I live in York so its a fair treck....

excellent idea... £5 is nothing.. think everyone would be happy as long as there was atleast 1 good pic of every player from every team.. maybe alot to ask but sure its possible sum how....

Well Dynamo support this, i mean tbh, £1 per event, 8 events = £8 for the year and you get good quality pictures, seems like a good deal since usually photographers can charge anything they like for the photo's from their site. Would be a good idea aswell that anyone who is there taking pics themselves, could spend a few mins to upload them to a masters photobucket (or another site who cares lol) album so there are planty of pics from the events. My mam (susan) was there and took over 150 pics of the day, mostly of dynamo (and mostly just trying out and learning the DSLR's settings) but we got some of the other teams aswell. I'm more than happy to upload (Or link the FB Album)

Wendy you can count Alpha1 in on that I think it is a great idea and it would be great to have dan there. We understand that one month there might be no pictures of our team and other months lots of us but on average it will work out very cheep for the individual play. It works out to no more than £10 a player if you play them all and for that you get lots of posing pictures what more could you ask for.

wendy think its a cracking idea to have both of them there .... id even pay the whole £10 for the team as long as there is pleanty of pics to warrent the £10... ive seen pics that bradlo has taken as he was there at ypc bash... excellent pics.... if people wanna see some of the pics you can see them on my facebook page... id say get them both booked ....

Subzero are well game for this. Awesome idea. Hopefully other teams will hop on board for this one, make it worth while for Dan.

That is a bargain, and yes I can safely say DV8 will buy into this :-)

Oh and don't forget to add Black into R2, we should have found them their 5th player by Sunday :-)

Sorry Orto but you would need 4 photographers at least to be able to attempt that, in some games even 4 on a field will still miss a player.
Photography is just like playing, it depends on how the game goes.

Thanks for all the support from the teams who saw that this was the way forward for image purchasing from the Masters events. There were some teams who did not contribute to the scheme, more fool them. £1 per player is not a lot to ask and if you only download 1 image you have already saved £1.50.

The AM gallery is being built right now and I expect to have it up later today.

All images are watermark free and ready to use for whatever means you require them for. Any images which bear watermarks are for teams who did not contribute to the scheme.

To obtain your images, browse the thumbnails and click on the image you wish to view. If the image require you to scroll around, simply click the fit to page button in the toolbar in the album. To download your chosen image/images right click and choose save. Voila you now have your download.
