Round Two - 19th February at SWAT UK

Yes ladies and gentle folks it is that time again....get ready for round two....lets hope that the wind stays away this time and we can have the full Millennium field in attendance...

Obviously the guys and gals at SWAT are working hard to make ready for round two, you mentioned the netting,the clumps of grass on the fields, and the cost of food and the carpark facilities, all of these have been addressed and you will see said improvements on the 19th...

Camping is free and i know that most of us will be camping again, well if we have fixed our tents after last time, Paul let us setup the fire pits behind the paint sheds so we had shelter from the wind, but no protection against the insanity sauce i'm afraid...

Most of you now know how to get to the venue, if you are unsure then go to the first round thread and all the relevant information is there, the post code is CH64 3TB....Boathouse Lane the top end i.e in the 100's....i will also be taking the Masters sign too and placing it at the entrance to the site....

HPac will of course be there supplying safe, clean, air fills upto 3000psi...

There will be a selection of paint and trade vendors at the event, so if you haven't already organised your paint for the event then do it now...

and King Of The Hill entry is £175 - limited paint - 2 pots and a hopper - Millennium Ramping - 300fps - 10.5bps

Teams have until the Tuesday night to book in.....the divisions will be here on Wednesday and teams will have till the Wednesday night to change divisions, so that i can start processing the schedules on Thursday....

wendy..... the cost of food was fine so i cant see y ppl complained at that tasted bloody gd too..... only thing i agree with is the parking was a bit crazy but hey things can only get better... ppl have always got something to moan about..... they dont know who much hard work that goes into running events like this ...... well done wendy ... round 1 was excellent

it was a bit of a learning curve for us too ( Playing Swat team members ) Weve never seen Swat dressed up for a tourny before, althought its not listed (not sure why) Swat has a walkon day on last sunday of every month, maybe once or twice a year do we suffer with winds while playing there, and never in coming up to 2 years playing at Swat has the wind been as bad as it was on that tourny weekend, so i can only hope its better this next round, as it wasnt a good advert for Swats forthcoming events, Im sure though Paul and his site team are working really hard on improving on lessons learned. proof will be in the pudding, So well done to all the staff and marshalls, as although alot of the players had gone we were all there till it had gone pitch black tidying up after the days play. so big thanks to all that helped, Especially Paul & Wendy for making it a great first round dispite the difficulties presented on game day.
