Yes, can anyone tell me how I can shorten the trigger pull on my cocker. Its a stock 2k4. I'd prefer not to take it to a shop so as long as its not too hard I'll do it myself.
Cheers
Problem with mechanical cockers is by shortening the trigger pull it leaves you open to other things going wrong (like the 3 way leaking or it not cycling properly). This is due to the trigger pull actually being part of the markers timing to cycle.
I'd advise you leave it alone, and get someone who knows what there doing to first of all show you the dos' and don'ts :)

thought you could only adjust the trigger and on blade and grip frames???
As far as I'm aware, the only way to "shorten" the trigger pull on a Cocker is by changing the 3-way. The closer the holes, the shorter the pull, but as L1f3 says, you could start having trouble with the timing. Leave it as it as and get used to it. Oh, you could make life a bit easier (if you haven't already) and put a swing frame on it. Loads easier than the old slide frame.
I'm guessing with it being a 2k4 it will have a WGP hinge on it anyway... long time since sliders were stock :)
Like Inknstuff said you could change the three way to something like a bomb to give you a shorter throw. But in realistic terms this would makes little to no difference to the markers ROF.

can u not get triggers that are different, letting u walk easier?
also cant u ajust the pull by changing where and how it pivots etc?
You can't walk a mechanical trigger like a cockers with two fingers. The trigger pull weight is too great, and too much of a margin of error and ending up short stroking.

I can twitch a mech quite fast. Nowhere near a e-blade but I have a fast index pinkie. It's a long double trigger but don't adjust it cos it'll all go wrong.
