If you know how to lube it then theres no harm in checking? If its there fine, if not do it. I'd recomend spart parts shocker lube. I use dow 33 on my bolt and regs and 55 on my Ram (i have a timmy btw, dont know bout internals of a bko). Its the ONLY thing id EVER use by smart parts. Whatever you use, just be sure what u use is the right kind other wise it'll eat your o-rings and cause more probs than it solves.

Collier, meol' chum, No. It won't need any lubing just yet. The bolt is self lubricating & the hammer runs in a grease bath.

That'd be all the moving parts then. !!!;)

Most bolts all claim to be self lubricating, but how many of them have 3 o-rings on them? can u say DDDRRRRAAAAAAAGGGG. Not sure if its a point here, but in general is something that really gets my goat :D

Nope, it's not a point here.
The BKO has NO 'o'rings on the bolt what with it being Delrin and all. That'd be a bit pointless now, wouldn't it.

Delrin is a silicon impregnated plastic polymer, that releases tiny amounts of silicon when it moves. ie:- self lubricating.

Yeah thats the point i was making, it is stupid, but timmy's and e-blades all have delrin bolts, and they all have 2/3 o-rings on them :S go figure...

It's to make sure the bolt is properly sealing the breech. Delrin bolts with o-rings still need to be lubed, but they are still lighter (thus tend to cycle faster) than steel / alu bolts.
