after i put my new drop + on/off on my ion, i noticed it sounded like there was a leak when i aired up, as described by people who had problems with their stock reg. i didn't read the 'turn your reg all the way down before airing up' advice (from another forum) until after this happened unfortunatley.

getting a pretty CP inline reg and was just wondering if there was anything i need to do to the gun other than just put on the new reg when it arrives......i.e, is there likely to be any problem internally? i'm pretty inexperienced with this kind of thing

anyway it was a very small/quiet leaking sound and it dry fired fine ( and had no problems with the stock reg when i put paint through it when the gun was totally stock) so i'm probably worrying about nothing.......

thanks in advance if anyone can understand my vague ramblings ;<

An internal hose may have slightly slipped out of the fittings.

Dosen't sound like a biggy, just strip it and give every thing a wiggle

air preasure is air presure m8 your gat wont give a shit what name the reg has, back the reg off and then dial it up over a chrono.
did you oil the marker,as a light oiling stops a lot of slight leaks,ie 2/3 drops off love juice(or equiverlent) in your asa every other tourny works wonders;) :)
