i noticed that fat bob dosnt stock any Brass Eagle paintball markers, can any one tell me why this is please?:confused:

O.K try this on. Brass Eagle is the paintball by-word for cheap, badly made, unreliabe, low quality, nasty ass, shitty garbage.
Just take a look at pbreview.com under any Brass Eagle item, whether it be markers, goggles, hoppers, paintballs. Whatever.
Nobody rates them at all. For anything. Ever.
You can't even call them "the Skoda of paintball" cos Skodas are reliable. If Brass Eagle were a car manufacturer, They'd be Trabant, 50 years ago, with more rust.
Fat Bob's Emporium only stocks Top Quality gear & no shop would be willing to stock an item that is guarenteed to cause customer complaint from the first time it's used. Hope this is a little more helpful.

ps. If you've already got one, sell it on E-Bay.
If you were thinking of buying one as a first gun, DON'T.
Get something else. Diablo Sabotage for example. Or
buy a catapult. :D

i was thinkin of startin real cheap as my parents r tight n wont let me get n e thing more than £50. i think this is coz i already got 2 airguns but i wanna invest in paintball and i was only planin 2 have a shoot up with my mates at the local forest it aint even a site. wat u say now? :confused: :)

lookin for cheap equipment, just keep an eye on the classifieds, you'll pick up a bargain somewhere. try ebay or, of course, fat bob has quite a bit of stuff as well ;)

You can buy a brand new sabby for £55, of course you still have buy the other bits like gas bottle and other bits and pieces but you'd have to buy them anyway even for a cheap brass eagle gun/marker.

As for you and you'r mates running round you'r local woods shooting each other NOT a good idea unless it's private land and there's ABSOLUTLY no chance of anybody wandering into the middle of you'r battle:( :( :(

Yeah safety. vvvvery important, being a marshall it prints it in your skull.! why dont you go to a walk on near you and find out whats happenin in your area, and you can try out different guns and see what you like. (you wont be able to play tho as you wont have a gun) but i guaruntee you'll make the mistake of buying a crappy spyder or summink(ok some spyders are ok) and then trying to sell it for a better m,arker a couple of months later.

pbnewbie just keep playing at you local site its safer and more fun playing at a good site than playing in some woods.

I have played in woods with mates (ok it was a small pball site where i used to marshall) there was only five of us and it sucked!!we got bored after 20 mins!!!

just play at local sites its far more fun and they will advise you on what to buy and where to get it from, and the first thing they will tell you get will be a MASK!!!!!!

i have been playing for 13 years now and have only just bought a marker. (did buy a trracer pump when i first started) you dont need a gun to play build your skills with site guns it will make you a better player!!!!!

Yeah, I play at topgun as much as possible with my team, its great there. Im a Newcastle dude with a lotta attitude :p.

But topguns team are a great laugh, fun to play with etc, theyre even better at kiking our ass's :D

Only the really old revvy s are ok as there not as brittle apparently before brass eagle took over,

If youve ever owned or own a clear egg2 then you will have proberbly noticed that the feedneck is cracked or has broken off already. Or your holding your batterys in with tape.



At the last fat bobs walk-on i got a hopper hit which snapped the lid off my friends clear egg which i was borrowing, dont think he was 2 happy about that.

The black 1s are apparently ok,

Apperently (im a bit skeptical) the pro teams use special eggs made out of a different grade plastic.

Mate, your best bet without a shadow of a doubt is to do what most of our lot did to start with, go to your local site and see if they will sell you a use site gun.

Within our club we must have 3 or 4 old tippy/infernos that cost between 25-50 each, they aint the best markers on the market but they are reliable as hell and shoot straight enough for most.

You can then strip it down, find out how it works give it a good service and even get it painted up. We always take a few of the old knackers with us when we play, and more often than not someone will end up using one cos thier markers are playing up....for dependability as a reliable back-up, or just a messing about marker you cant go wrong with site stuff.

In fact if youre lucky they may sort you a mask and overalls out too.
