I used to kickbox but then i snapped my anterior cruciate ligament  so now its paintball and only with a knee support!
Kickboxing is mint tho....if it wasnt for playing so much paintball, and my dodgy knee id do it again for sure.

Got my 3rd Dan in Shoto-Kan Karate & did a little Tai Chi Chuan for a couple of years. Trained in Kendo for 2 years, but never took any of the UK exams :(
Did a bit of the old freestyle kickboxing/karate when I was a bout 16, got to purple. Then me and a friend tried to look into doing Krav Maga (Israeli defence forces art), some kewl shit in there :D

been to a few Chum Sut kung fu classes. basically its ultimate/no holds barred fighting. seriously rough stuff.
the list is endless,
tai-jitsu
ninjitsu
taekwondo
hapkido
aikido
bits and pieces of kung fu (various styles)
along with a few random freestyle arts thrown in.
i specialise in the tkd full contact stuff, and teach it twice a week.
do you think some of the mindsets of the martial arts help to develop paintball skills?
the old dodging bullets trick never fails me :p

tips, yeah. keep your guard up!!
get the first st rike in and follow up rapidly with a combo/flurry of high and low kicks and puches - confuses your opponent.
and yeah i suppose i am!!! never really thought about it that way, my sig is just the nickname the boys on the team gave me!!

I love it, fought for Great Britain twice. Won a number of British titles as well. Gasman came along 2 watch me fight not so long back. Last fight I had I got my ass kicked but the less said about that the better:mad:

I've done judo when I was younger, tai kwon do later on and muay thai - where i was trained by an ex world champ and absolute maniac master lec :p
I have also trained a lil in ju jit su and I have learnt an awesome amount from my older brother who has done more than me. Bits of jeet kun do, wing chun and kickboxing etc.
I love martial arts, my passion. :)
Tips for muay thai include expecting alot of pain and be agressive. Best defence in allmost any martial art or any fight is a strong offence. People simply trying to defend themselves don't win. Its the people who fight back who win. Remember that :)

No I don't actually but my brother teaches kickboxing for a living and he has one. Go to www.kikbox.co.uk he is running the fight night so will know the dates.
About judo mate i agree, boring as sin. I would rather suck sick from a pig farmers sock than watch it!:(
Kickboxing on the otherhand is totally different. Go down, get pissed at the bar and watch people smash each others face in:eek: :) :)
This is the first fight night ever when I have not fought. Looking forward to it.
