5 Million Pixels seems good to me, especially for less then £100
origionally we were going to buy a more expensive one from john lewis with a 2years warrenty but with only 3.2 Million pixels
i was browsing and though whats the catch...

If it's a true 5 Mpix then the only catch would be your not paying for a name like Sony.
Check it's not just 5 MPix interpelated, in which case it's true rating would be a lot less than that.
I doubt any bundled software would be up to teh same level as other top name cameras but then thats where they make a saving and software is free or cheap enough on the web.
It's the old story of elctronics getting cheaper as time goes by, my £200 camera is worth sod all now and it's only a year old.
For £90 I'd give it ago, what you got to loose?
HTe only thing that would bother me, is the fact it hasn't been reveiwed here http://www.steves-digicams.com/hardware_reviews.html
I use this site before buying any camera as his reveiws are spot on, I normally buy at least 1 digi camera a year either for myself or work.

'fraid not, I'm a Sony man
ive got a konica minolta z3 4M pixels, i can strongly recomend them, very nice peice of kit and if you want a good zoom feature i couldnt find one better at 12x optical. i picked it up cheap on ebay, about 6 months ago at £170 should be a bit cheaper by now.

is there a noticeable difference between 3 and 5 M
its got 16 day money back on it so if u think its shit just take it back, within 16 days and theyll give u a full refund
differnce betwen 3M and 5M? only about 2,000,000 pixels, my 2.2 (it's huge, back in the early days of digital photography) still take pics at 1800x1200, which is huge anyway, 6M will fill a 3mx2m wall without any pixalation, you just don't need that much quality
thats a good point, if your just using it for snap to puts onto you pc then 3m is more than enough, if you want to do larger prints then the more the merrier, plus you can zoom in better with more pixels, obviously.

Go here (http://gallery15652.fotopic.net/) matey.
Open any folder (except crash) any image, bottom of the screen is a full size option all 16332 x 1224 pixels (less than 3 Mpix)
All taken with my little 3Mpix Sony, all good enough for A4 prints and computer use.
