On 1st June 2005 Fat Bob's Paintball was bought by YPC (Yorkshire Paintball Centre).
Fat Bob's is already the UK's largest online store and with the funding of YPC it is our aim to become Europe's premier online store. We are significantly increasing the number of products we offer from manufacturers including, Diablo, Bob Long, Halo, Empire, 32 Degrees, Smart Parts, JT, Dye and many more.
The retail store at Selby will continue to open Saturdays only and can be contacted on 01757 705327. The online side of Fat Bob's has been moved to warehouse premises already occupied by YPC and can be contacted through YPC on 01757 289322.
The offices at the shop will be converted into a tech classroom where we will be running monthly tech classes on all of the most popular markers. The shop itself, whilst stocking the usual high quality products will focus mainly on the Walkon and Tournament markets. The new space freed up by moving the online stock will be used as a customer recreation area where we will have seating with magazines, video games, DVD's and possibly a Paintcheck league.
We believe that with the accusition of Fat Bob's together with the Monthly Walkon's at YPC and YPC itself, we can offer an all round package from first timer through Walkon and ultimately to Tourny player.
Fat Bob's continues to sponsor Fat Bob's Leeds, Fat Bob's York and Storm North and would like to wish them every success for the rest of the year.
The Fat Bob's online forum has gone from strength to strength and is now a buzzing community. With this in mind, the forum name will change over the next few days from Fat Bob's Online Forum to "Talkpaintball.com" reflecting the high level domain name.
We hope that with these changes we can maintain the high level of customer service associated with Fat Bob's retail and online stores and look forward to what the future may hold.
