Just coming into paintball after a 15 year relax

im buying an E-99 from a friend and from the write ups and reading in froums i think im gonna love this gun,,,,1 question for all you knowledgable people in here

ive heard that the gun is quite noisey compared to most markers,,,,some say barrel some say low pressure any input as to how to remedy it would be appreciated...sorry forgot to mention also gettin electro hopper aswell.....

im also being given a 16" armson rifle barrel ...oh btw i will only be playing woodland,,,thanx again.

With higher pressure blowback markers, you con only really reduce the noise so much. However, as you've been told, a barrel with porting will help reduce the noise signiture (the 32 degrees whisper barrel is designed especially for this).

Other than that you can't do too much to help, however to be honest you really shoudnt need too quiet a marker if you're playing woodland / rec ball, I would see how it goes then see what you think.

For reference, the quietest markers I've ever seen are the shockers (not the new (2003) ones but the older ones). I have an eclipse shocker and it really it stupidly quiet. Just a short hiss noise when it fires. Mmmmm
