Somebody help me. I've crossed the line. I've turned into a full blown punter hunter. They all turn up joking laughing, listening intently to the safety talk and then I help them all with dull questions and how to tighten their googles so they dont fall down the face or wiggle on the run.

Then I put on my gear, Full NBC suit, V-Force shield goggles with mirrored lense, gloves, big boots, 6x 140 Fridge shot pots which i fill with site paint. They then look nervous.

Next I take out my new marker.

2002 Eclipse cocker in Cobalt Blue, matching barrel and a clear reloader hopper with a soon to be 4500 air system. I go crono it to watchful eyes and just for a laugh put 20 balls a second through to clear the gas lines. The look goes from nervous to absolute stark terror.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing and can I get counselling?

It is very much a bad thing. If people go away thinking "I hate that site, they let the professional use me as target practice all day" then they're not likely to come back. Punter hunting is ok to a degree (one or two games in a day) but going out with 6 pots and an eblade is way over the top, imho!

I just want to know how you get 20 a sec out of a revvy? If its a mod i'd buy it!! I thought they could only get up to about 10-12?

Luck more than anything. You get it spinning and hope for the best. I do get the odd blank but on the first crono of the day its not to bad. Anyway 20's probably an over estimate and if I did that all day it'd cost a fortune.

So it's bad but where do I go from here. I've only been playing once a month for about the last 4 months. I'm starting to get a team together but Carmarthen is the arse end of the world. Because I don't live down there it's difficult to recruit a large group and then there's all the trouble of getting the regulars together on the same weekend. For example this coming weekend it's Saturday for golf (yes GOLF not paintball. Difference Harder Balls) and Sunday for paintball. Only got 1 of the regular guys and his GF the rest are on holiday.

So if there are any people who have their own kit, not essensial, you can hire, who like to play paintball against intermediate to proffesional players please come shoot at me I need help.

Find a local team. If you are in the arse end of nowhere as you say, then you will have to travel a bit further, but it will be a damn sight better than just punter hunting - thus worth the extra distance!
