What is all the fuss about some cricket match. Is cricket not the most boring sport on the planet.
I remember at school we all hated it. It was OK if you were bating or bowling but anything else was mind numbing.
And to sit for 3 days watching it!!

Agreed, cricket does indeed suck and has to be up there as one of the most boring spectator sports going.
Someone needs to post up a sport more boring. I just can't think of one.
Accidently flicking and getting a sight of cricket, even for a split second makes me physically hurt inside.
It's the same hurt inside I get from being in any department store.
I agree, cricket = utterly boring.

Even formula 1 has the women with the umbrella's which make the first part watchable.
Also there are crashes.

Golf does have to be the closest, still not as bad as cricket. If you were tied to a chair, golf would only last around 4 hours.

totaly agree that cricket is mind numbmingly boreing, but here's definitly one spectator sport( if you can use that word) that is utterly utterly sh#t to watch, chess - how the hell can someone sit for god know's how many hour's watching people play chess?!!!

well i got a decnt "new" sport i just thought of how bout football paintballin all the players are normal but the keeper gets a paintball gun 2 shoot who ever he likes that would b mad hahahahaha

Over paid, over rated prima donnas who probably couldn't hold down a real job if they had to.
I've said it before, and I'll probably say it again: ban football and turn all the empty stadia into paintball arenas. :D

im with you on cricket, good on the lads for winning and all that but couldnt watch it. there was one "sport" i saw on telly which was proberly as boring, and bunch of freeky deeky dutch blokes (i think) sit around a tables smoking pipe and the exiting part is they get a certain amount of tabocco and they have to make it last as long as possible with out it going out, i guess on the plus side i think the record is under 3 hours.
its amazing how they can take possibley the fastest cars in the world around a track, and make it boring, its a skill. involving very long lenses (to make it seem like there doing about 30mph) and a total lack of imagination. BTCC, super bikes and even moto GP, now thats cool!!!

il end up with half a one because peterborough football club might have to sell half to fund the council moving the pikeys on but thats fine paintball markers and pikeys good target practice

well everybody come on down i have 4 bedrooms if i kick my family out and a motorhome which sleeps 6 and there are pikeys all over could make a weekend of it
Actually they have changed tabletennis for just that reason.
You now only play to 11 instead of 21. The ball is 1mm bigger which slows it down by 14%..

most boring sport?..... yeh i'd say cricket. best sport? i'd have to say either cow tipping, or squash. theres nothing better than being in a small room, whacking a tiny ball at the wall at very high speeds, tring to make your apponant miss and fall over in a painfull twist of agony:D
or just trying to find the right place to hit it at the wall so his gonads get a surprise.

Did anybody see that programme on "Extreme Ironing" the other day. Now that really will catch on, not! How come they have a whole hour devoted to something like that, AND at reasonable viewing hours, when paintball only gets a few minutes when most folk are tucked up in bed? :confused:

uuuuugh, if theres one thing that gets me mad, it's people that try to make themselves seem different and cool by coming up with a totaly stupid sport, and thinking people will like them for thinking they have an interest in it. i mean, the irons aren't even plugged in for christs sake:mad: , are you people idiots, you sit on a mountain in the pouring rain with your cold switched off iron and all you do is make the wrinkles in your clothes worse, AAAAARRRGH!:mad: . why don't they get jobs, or even lives, as this sport is totaly pointless. can you imagine the extreme ironing meetings:
guy 1: yeah well, i've now modded my iron with a carbon body kit, a new heater and water inlet hole. also, it now produces 30% more steam than the regular tefal brand that you get in the shops. how cool is that
guy 2: yeah thats cool, but you know what would be realy cool,...if i was dead:rolleyes:

I went to the oval match, and whilst it may on ocasion be very boring, there aren't many other sports where you are encouraged to drink all day non stop in the ground. Has to be a plus.
ps. we call scooter riders organ donors in London !

We used to play crown green bowls when we were at college. For some reason we got asked to leave the green. Maybe it was the "over arm" deliveries we were using that upset the little man in the brown coat and flat hat.
