ok, im looking for my first gun, and im considering the Bone daddy RG (http://www.fatbobspaintball.co.uk/acatalog/Intermediate_Semi_s.html)
What is best/cheaper, co2 or air, and which does it use, and how do i change it?
from what i see and read in different forums it seems thst co2 is nearly always free on site fills and air if available on sites they seem to charge for.......although i could be wrong:)..
also co2 tanks are a lot cheaper to buy....

Hes right there. If your looking at using the same site for rec ball they'll usually give free Co2 fills plus the tank is a 1/10th of an air system. I've just changed over to an Air System because i've got a High end tornament Marker but if I still use my Autococker for rec balling i'll have to take a dive tank with me or pump to fill because the site I use doesn't have air anyway.
Co2 is cheaper but Air is cleaner and more consistent shot for shot. As far as I can tell a full Co2 bottle will outlast a larger air bottle but will do some strange shots from time to time. Plus if you bugger the Co2 bottle it'll cost £20 to replace. If you bugger an Air Bottle your starting at £120.
Make sure you get an anti syphon tube fitted in your co2 bottle and get the position marked so you dont freeze your gun.

Best (and least hassle) = AIR
Cheapest (and nasty) = CO2

ok thanks guys, well ill go for CO2 for my first gun, and i can fill it up from work which ive just realised!
:D
Unless your bottle at work has a dip-valve it won't actually fill that well unless you turn the bottle upside down...
