am I the only one thinking that those tapes on the floor are gonna trip you up?

it could be interesting, as far as i believe it's run pretty much along side bullys so it might clash with it a bit so teams playing in bully's would probably have to decide unless they got 3 spare guys!!

From the vid i'd say 3 per team, 1 on 1 at a time first to touch the post without being hit wins?
The tapes maybe for scoring or summat, the closer you get before you get hit the more points?
Does the winner stay on so to speak?

I daresay in the final revision, the tape will be replaced with lined markings
The vid was made on the day we were finalising the format. The tapes will go and only 4 white line will be used. These lines have 2 purposes. The first is to mark the buzzer zone and the other is for reference points for commentry.
The post was a prop and just a reference point. This is to be replaced by a buzzer.
We are writing the rules as we speak and will publish the format in the next few days.
This tourny on the 27th is a taster tourny before the series which will be run at the same time as Bullys 2K6 events. 2K6 at one side, NMC at the other.
Players will need to demonstrate excellent snapshooting skills, be able to think quickly and read a game, all at the same time.
It is a 3 man event and the format means that we can place each individual player in a table meaning that we can rank each player and team with no guesswork.
The event last week was a trial so we had to experiment with various formats as the teams who played will confirm.
Don't worry about the tapes they will not be there at the next event. (it will be head high rope :D only joking)
The event on the 27 Nov is still a trial as there will be minor problems, as per all intial ideas/events but that is the idea - to iron out the problems before rolling out the series.

No mate, I used a specific font for the logo, then Photoshopped it half to death!!
Just checked dates... might be off to the Zap Indoor in Budapest that weekend... will keep u updated tho...
