Pyros

Ive only been paintballing a couple of times but id like to go somewhere we can use pyros, ive phoned nearly everywhere nearby and the majority of sites only allow smokes at the most.
What are peoples opinions of the thunderflash? (mk5) and how effective are the paint frags? Id like to get to use them on the field but i cant!
I have seen some paintball mortars on some sites and they look awesome! More sites should look into this kinda thing:p

i think pyros are cool! especially flashbangs cos they make a great noise, so far i havn't been able to use any pyros at my local site cos im under 18 and cant buy any, but they are fun. the paint grenades they had there weren't that good some bloke through one into the base camp area, where there was about 50 people, not one got hit! but the smokes good cos you can use it to conceal movements make a distraction etc.

Using thunderflashes would be cool but Flashbangs? Christ you can use them on a paintball field? Aren't they a military class stun grenade?!?!

There are no sites in their right mind that would allow thunderflashes or flashbangs. Smoke is even a bit dodgy.

With the current no win no fee adverts on tv, any site selling thunderflashes would be in court before you could say "perforated eardrum"

Fractal:Relapse is compltely right flash bangs are a strictly millitary thing as they can cause tempoary blindness/ deffness.

as for thunderflashes i buy them of the net and my local site is all to happy to let me use them!! (as long as i warn the marshals as i chuck it so they can move)

and the site is hoping to buy in pyros to sale at the site

and yes thunderflashes are very effective. i prefer them over the grenades as grendaes arent as loud and u wont get any one out with a hit from one so why bother with them??

flash bangs, thunderflashes whatever u wanna call them, i've always called them flash bangs cos i use to use them in a cadet force, fun as hell, much better at night. i didn't realise they weren't allowed anymore, i didnt see any signs or anything at my local paintballing place but im not really suprised considering this countries human rights crap. flash bangs we so fun we we taught to throw them behind us or away from anyone. but what a bang. lol

lol. i remember that. when i was in cadets we did a night exercise and they showed us before we did anything what all the weapons we like in the dark and he set off a flash bang and i was dumb enough o look at the flash! i was blind for 2 minutes and i had that lovely ring in my ear. but it was cool! :D

At the SWAT big game they went through a lot of Thunderflashes it was more like November 5th. There was a funny moment when There was a mass push on enemy positions we were in a long line like beaters and the lead guy throws a mark 5 into the trees and says on the bang we go. I didnt go off.

i dnt know a well placed paint grenade can cause a bit of damage......in a game i played someone got up to the tower bein protected without bein noticed and since the entrance is at the side way behind where the people are..he lit up a grenade and placed it nicely behind 2 guys.....that took out the tower:D:D:D:D
