Icon Electronic Semi

The new Icon gave us a bit of a problem, the build quality and fire rate meant that it was not an intermediate marker, but the price would not put it into the top of the range tournament markers, The solution was to create an entry level tournament marker category.

Advanced Electronic Trigger Frame
Fore Grip with Expansion Chamber
Up to 13 Shots/sec
Controlled Rate of Fire
All-in-one Custom Sight Rail with beavertail
Low Pressure Chamber
Quick Disconnect Pin
Custom Vertical Feed Port
Custom Anodizing and Milling
All New Style Ball Detent
Rear Velocity Adjuster w/ loc

£139.99 :)

you could try www.pbreview.com and see if its there and if so a load of people should have given there own review on the marker.

hey man, i said to someone before about the use of electronic semi's etc at their local paintball site, so if your gonna use it privatly or something then i guess it dont matter, but if you're only gonna use it at your local site then check to make sure they allow the type of gun you wanna buy!

Hi,

You haven't told us what sort of paintball you want to be playing - Do you just want your own kit to go to your local site a few times a year with, or are you wanting to go to big games / walk ons, or are you looking to get into tournaments.

Also, a lot of people would recommend that you get your own goggles and playing clothes as well as a marker. You also need to remember that as well as the marker, you need to get a power source (CO2 or compressed air) and a hopper. If you are going for an electronic marker, you really need an agitating hopper like the Empire Reload / 12V revvy in order to avoid chopping.

Let us know what sort of ball you want to play, and your maximum expenditure for kit, as well as anything you don't want eg if you are happy with your local site's goggs then you might not want to get yor own.

Hope thats something to be thinking about,

Regards,

Tom

PS To answer your question, I haven't seen the icon in action so I cant comment on it :D

Hi..

Thanks for the advice guys!!..

I've played paintball quite a few times before at different sites, but know I've got spare time on weekends and more spare cash so Im looking to play on a regualr basis!.. I'll need to get more practise before getting involved in tournaments though!

I've emailed my local site to ask about the use of electronic markers.:)

Budget wise, I guess something in the region of £300-400 to get a marker and PPE.

Is there really much difference between a £20 pair of goggles and a £80 pair
