I haven't use one of the Reload sound activated hoppers, but I've seen quite a few ppl using them and have heard lots of very good things about them.

Used a ricochet at the weekend on a borrowed marker and it was crap - dunno if the batteries were going off, but it kept leaving gaps in the feed stack and also was very noisy and sounded plasticy.

Eggos are good if you will out shoot your revvy - everyone seems to be buying them these days.

12V revvys are great but seem to have been superseded by the Reload.

I cant say anything about the other hoppers as I've only ever used the Emipre one. Very good on batteries although you need 2 of them. Haven't had to change them yet in over 3 months. You do get the odd occasion when it cant keep up but when your gun is double firing and emptying the hopper in 10 to 15 seconds what do you expect. All in all a very good mid priced hopper. You may want to look at the new VL Quantum loader as well. Suiter_killer has one. It runs on one 9volt battery but I dont think he ever switches it on its that well designed. It has a central paddle/spike thing which aggitaes the balls but they flow to the front of the hopper where they drop into a 10 shot or so feedneck. This is where the design is so good. Once their in the neck they flow without problems and if your bouncing around no need to switch it on. It is a bit noisy though and doesnt hold a huge amount of paint but its alright i'd say.

Other than the Halo B - I do gor for the Egg II (Y Board) every time above all those listed and mentioned but I'm saving my vote for the Halo.

the reason i havent put the halo on there is because i cant really afford to pay that much for a hopper.

but the 4 i have listed i can afford so any feed back on them would be aprreciated

Ok, my advice is:

If you are shooting a high end marker (Custom Impulse, Angel, Electro Cocker, Timmy, Matrix etc) and you will regualrly want to shoot more than 13/second - Get the eVlution.

If you are shooting a mechanical marker of any sort, or a low - mid level electro, get the Empire Reload hopper.

Simple enough?

Well if your going to be firing 13 bps save your money and get a Halo. Look around on e-bay you might find a 2nd hand one now the halo 2 is coming out.

What?

NO NO NO!

13bps is well within an egg's rate (?18? I think and thats before Y board). 13 is the quoted feed rate of a 12v revvy with x board, so I would think the empire kit would also be able to match this, with less gaps in the feed due to the fact it agitiates with every shot, whereas the revvy agitiates only when a gap is detected.

landmindscap - TJ has said several times that a halo is too expensive for him!

Yeah but it may be quoted as 13 bps but when I use the Empire with the e-rex I still get gaps at high rates of fire. Plus the odd chop just when it matters. Don't know if my hopper is duff but it might be just me.
