Part of the US special operations forces handbook.
On encountering a snake in the area of operation expect the following from your forces.
Paratrooper-Kills snake.
Armor-Runs over snake, giggles and spends rest of day looking for more snakes.
Infantry-"Ugh me see snake! Me like snake! Ouch!! me not like snake."
Army Aviation- Has GPS grid to snake. Couldn't find snake. Back to base for crew rest and the club and some sort of drink called 'The snake'.
Ranger-Assaults the snake's home and secures it for use by friendly snakes.
SEAL-Expends all ammunition, several grenades and calls for navel gunfire in a failed attempt to kill the snake. The snake bites the SEAL and then retreats to safety.
Corps Artillery- Kills the snake, but in the process kills several hundred civilians. mission is considered a sucess and all participnats are awarded silver stars.[cooks, mechanics, legal clerks etc.]
Marine recon-Follows snake and gets lost.
Combat Controller-Guides the snake elsewhere.
Pararescue- Wounds the snake in the first encounter, then feverishly works to save the snakes life.
Special Forces-Makes contact with snake, builds rapport, wins its heart and mind, then trains it to kill other snakes.
lol!

I have served side by side with american troops on a few occasions before now, and find them extremely friendly, but it isnt the fact they like you, its the fact that they respect you because of the unit you represent.
When the american marines, rangers etc come into a theatre of war where they are going to come into contact with british forces, they are given a small card that fits into their wallet.
It reads:
When on operational detatchments with British Troops, Do not.
Drink
Gamble
Fight
You will Lose !
These guys were huge, i will admit, but they were soft as shite....

hehe that really is quite amusing. And i think that somebody has got the wrong end of the stuck about me. I have nothing against the American forces. I have plenty of yank friends and get on with all of them. Its just the president elected by the state of Florida and his lap dog Blair that i don't agree with.

Bush is an arse hole ,no arguement there ,but Blair how the f**k did a nonce like that not only get into no 10 in the 1st place, but who bloody voted him back in:( :( :( :( :( :( .
When did the UK last have good government ?...Churchill?.Macmillan ?
As for the war?,I'm not for it but I still support the Brits and Yanks out there `cos they're doing their jobs, something polititians ought to do once in a while.
What p***es me off is I was over there for the 1st Gulf conflict, and we could have sorted it out then,12 years ago and with much less cost to human life, not just from the casualtys of war but the 12 years of Hussains regime and economic sanctions we imposed on them.
Even in the 1st war I thought the reasons were a bit odd,as we were fighting to free one of the richest countrys in the world(with one of the smallest armys) from one of the Wests former allies.
Yanks V Limeys ? ,I always found that nationality among the Allies was not an issue,as a soldier is soldier where ever he came from.
who does agree with war when there are more friendly fire deaths caused than from the actual enemy ? it's like WWII over again.

The way i see it is that no matter how long our weapons inspectors are over there, its never gonna solve anything.I figure we just blow the living sh** out of them and somehow get them a different government and that will help our problems:D
The way I see it is that everyone is loosing the plot over the war. The stated aim was ,at first, to rid Iraq of weapons of mass destruction (although what it has to do with us or America is beyond me as both have weapons of mass destruction anyway)
If Iraq had any weapons of mass destruction they would have used them by now, therefore it is becoming quite obvious that they don't.
The TV now says that the stated aim of the war is to free Iraqs people from the tyrany of Sadam, that's a bit different now, have the authorities now admited that Iraq has no WOMD.
If it's about liberating a people, surely a better target would have been Saudi Arabia where it is normal to be beheaded for having views against the government, or Chechnea (not spelt right) for the same reason.
Isn't it the case that Iraq is just a soft target for Georges TV war, where no-one dies but the baddies. What's next, this bomb is brought to you by McDonalds, or Sadams bunker, blown up by a missile sponsored by Pepsi.
It looks like Korea has been swept under the carpet a little. I bet that problem is solved by talking about it, not war. Korea has neuclear weapons and has threatened the USA with a pre emptive strike but I don't see GW saying anything.
We are lead to beleive that Sadam is a threat to us. He has no links to terrorism and has no WOMD so whats the problem.

Iraqi government are very smart by not using weapons of mass destruction but to use propaganda like we do. Their aim is to win over the iraqis by showing that they dont have WOMD and stating that the yankees n Brits are lying.... It may not be the case. but that is what i believe. If you think about it, it makes sence when you put it all together.
Yankees gave iraq the "ingrediants" for chemical warfare etc, and they have been missing ever since off the checklist.
About north korea, i totally agree, N.Korea is more of threat than saddam because they themselves have threatened verbally with the evidence of WOMD. The only reason the Yanks want to take out saddam first because they want the oil. It's that simple and stupid.
No offence to Trick or any other american.
These are purely my opinions to which everyone should be entitled to.

I was in York this Saturday with Mrs. Robtattoo & we were accosted by a load of anti-war protesters. Why are these un-employed arses, still bothering to protest about something that is now impossible to stop ? I did my bit in N.Ireland some time ago & find it VERY offensive that these tossers are allowed to belittle our military's efforts in the Gulf. During WW2 protests occurred but were STOPPED by the police, not supported. The news reported last week that protesters at Menwith Hill & Filingdales were throwing tin foil into the air to try & disrupt our radar communications (!) Should these people not be arrested as collaborators ? Again during WW2 collaborators were, at best, handed penal sentences & many were shot. What has changed in 50 years, that endangering the lives of our own ( & American ) troops is now acceptable?
I'm sorry if I'm taking a strong standpoint here, but I lost 2 good friends in the gulf, last time & feel very strongly about this.
Protesters. You cannot change the world. Try changing your tune.
i feel for you.
I have family over in Saudi Arabia who can't move out to an embassy because one of the family has no british citizen passport therefore outside of protection, day by day im am angered by this war because for 1) friendly fire deaths are more than from the enemy and 2) i can't do jackshit to help my family move out to safety but to sit back and wait until some1 presses the button and kill many more civilians.
God bless the troops and civilians who has lost their lives so far in this un-called for war.
