I'm wanting to buy myself my first marker. Not wanting to spend too much on it.
Probably below £200.
What would you guys recommend i get?
I quite fancy one of the combo deals.
Need you help. Thanks :)

oh, i phoned my local paintball site the other day and they dont allow electric semi (elctronic triggers, hoppers etc), i suggest you do the same just to be sure, you dont wanna buy and electronic one then get told you're not allowed to use it

Yeah i phoned mine and its not allowed. Its because you would shoot every other person before they even saw you. Oh well!

Just got the same answer from my local site  just gotta go of and check my other 2 local sites.

It would be a major boner living so close to 3 sites and none of them allowing electro's

no site unless u know the owener well would let u take a electric marker, unless they charge other ppl to upgrade to electric spyeders or sumthin,

just to clear up any confusion electric markers are allowed at walk on days and most tourneys most sites that hold a walk on will not stop you from using one.

Walk on days only though! regular days you are expected to use site kit to stop upset from other people.

Npf at bassets pole will let you use them on walkons and with normal punters as long as there arent a major group of ya but you do get penalised.

Most of the sites that allow me to use my marker penalise you by saying that for punters head shots do not count, where-as for own gunners they do

Its the same at npf and the punters get told were you are.

The punters get told where you are????

Maybe we should be thankful for the easier kills, what with punters running swiftly to thier doom!! heheheheheheh

Punters will get worried at anything.

"yes that is correct sir you are playing against one professional player on his own. unfortunatley for him his marker is broken and he will be lobbing the paint at you with his hands from several feet away!"

The reply- "Oh thats not fair on us we will all get wiped out in seconds!?."

heard it all...nah not even close

Chuckle;)

500 punters vs. 12 walk on players...

"It might be a little fairer if there weren't so many walk on players."

If head shots don't count make sure that the rest of the body is covered, I say!

I'm both happy and sad that my local doesn't allow the few walk on players who can make it there a chance to play with the punters. I hate whiners. But it'd be great! Like the Alamo except the other way round! :D
